Wing Stroke, book two of the fantasy series by m.a. Here is the link for The Wishing Shelf Awards. As you can see, we were one of two books only to recieve The Red Ribbon award and literally one point away from being a finalist. This is still quite an achievement for a poetry book entering awards that have NO POETRY category! (Scroll all the way to the bottom, we're the last book!) We are pleased to announce that our poetry collection Why Be Eye Candy When You Can Be Soul Food? by Lynette Feeley and illustrated by the marvelous Carol Gazso Kushion received the Red Ribbon award from The Wishing Shelf Awards in the U.K. This means our book scored a 25 out of 35 points. To be a finalist, we needed a 26 or above. This is a great achievement considering we were up against nearly 1k books in Children's, fiction, and non-fiction, and that there was no specific category for poetry.
