Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We have a very special episode for you all today.

Before making his way on to the Netflix hit series, "Drink Masters", Raj Shukla became somewhat of a local legend behind the stick here in Fort Wayne. Today, he joins us for a special Thanksgiving episode making us one of his signature Turkey Day cocktails, "All the Fixin's".

The Fort Wayne bar scene has grown exponentially in the last 5 years, and honestly would not be what it is without Raj.

As a hospitality professional and veteran bartender, Raj's passion for spirits and cocktails has set him apart in the bar and cocktail world - locally, nationally, and now globally. In Fort Wayne, he has designed and crafted exceptional cocktails at places such as Copper Spoon and Mercado. Raj has competed in and won numerous cocktail competitions within the Midwest and across the US. Most recently, Raj was featured in the new Netflix series - Drink Masters. Drink Masters is a new – and the first of its kind – cocktail competition show featuring 12 of North America's top bartenders and is streaming now on Netflix.

When he's not behind the stick, you can find Raj teaching couples and group cocktail classes, hosting bourbon and whiskey tastings, as well as bartending at pop-up bars and private events around the region.

The Original Single Barrel bourbons, made from the same mash bill, aged a few hundred yards and a few feet of elevation part. It’s a shame drank his own perfect juice with a spritz of sprite, but hey, whatever gets the job done..

We have a great episode dropping today featuring two bottles that are in spirit of the season, but obviously should be celebrated year round.

If you are not on the bandwagon, it’s very much time to hop on. I’m not sure there is a distiller out there right now with a better core line up of products, but then you start diving into limited releases like this, it’s a whole new level. Classic, Kentucky bourbon/rye notes, but with a bold statement in originality in every sip.

We just so happened to be at the amazing distillery the day they dropped Discovery 8 and the second run of their highly successful Collaborative series line, “Chateau De Laubade”.

If you guys are in the area, this is a must stop destination, and make sure to hit up the restaurant (I don’t think we had a better meal in Bardstown). If the food doesn’t make it worth while, the tour was amazing, the facility is beautiful and the gift shop is packed.

The “Adult Apple Cider”

This was a cocktail submitted to us from our good friend through our Cocktail Doctor portal. Adam is probably one of the most talented home bartenders we have met on this journey, and this drink absolutely holds up to what we expect of him. He was hoping to get a bit more spice and essence of the fall season out of the drink, and while it was hard, we think we might have found an answer. This is an extremely under appreciated whiskey. It’s such a drinkable proof, with butterscotch so forward it’s like tasting candy. Drink enough of it, and you will be saying “F**K the Cowboys!” just as much as us tonight .

Had a great time at last week. The day started with getting hit in the head with a door, but was quickly followed by a pour of old bourbon and a great tour with one of Willett’s 53 employees (50 humans and 3 cats)

Smoked old fashioned’s anyone?

With fall comes fires, manly men, their traegers, and seasonal cocktails, all which in one way or another lead to smoke. We have never been huge into smoked cocktails, but when this kit was sent to us, we figured it was worth experimenting with. We smoked 4 old fashioned’s using different types of woods to see which one works best for this drink.

Best part about this smoker kit? It’s only $30 bucks
