I’ve decided to tell my CHRONIC story… oh yeah it’s a REAL ONE… a CHRONIC ONE…. a chronic illness… this is not a pity party but an awareness and a daily reality for myself and millions of other people. I, Alesha no longer want to live in silence!! No… I don’t look sick and yes I’m usually able to mask my symptoms w/a SMILE or a good joke and a Ginger Ale(so It can help me belch/burp). Meds are needed daily for nausea, spasms, pain, reflux and RESTFUL SLEEP! Oh yeah, now here’s the new curveball ( H.pylori-Gastritis has recently been an added diagnosis.) Don’t get me wrong on days without meds my esophagus spasms and GI symptoms are giving me (GI Hell on Earth). Truth be told, YOUR Gut Health is TOTAL BODY HEALTH!! 💯Your GUT controls digestion, mood, health and even the way you think. I have been suffering in SILENCE with my GI digestive health since the late 80’s… 33years since my Nissen Fundoplication w/hiatal hernia Operation in 1990 at UC Davis Medical Center…back then… sheesh nobody really believed me until the GI test/results resulted in me having surgery. Over the years, that surgery has worn off(if I must say so nicely)! Here I stand after years of having Esophageal dilations… 🎯side note the last few years they do the Esophageal dilation /BOTOX!! I told you the ESOPHAGEAL SPASMS are real! More story to come… more test are coming my way this month… I finally found a specialist it took almost a year to get an appointment but, I am optimistic about her quest to actually help me get a treatment plan and surgery to correct the (worn off surgery) and I know I’m reaching 🙏🏾 I pray that I can actually live a life free from spasms+pain free+reflux free+medication free… (one of my meds are Viagra…. Oh yeah… this a real story… side note this is how I became a FLEXITARIAN… Flexitarian Soul
