In this video, All You need to Know about India's Longest Bridge | Atal Setu | Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), we have discussed,

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu Bridge, aka, Atal Setu Bridge,
also known as Mumbai Trans Harbour Link or MTHL a newly inaugurated on January 12, 2024, by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after five years of construction.

It is India’s longest & World's 12th longest sea bridge, spanning 21.8 kilometers and connecting South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai.

It was built at a cost of more than Rs 17,840 crore.

The bridge has six lanes, with around 16.5 kilometers over the sea and about 5.5 kilometers on land.

It has a design life of 120 years and can withstand earthquakes, cyclones, and corrosion.

The bridge aims to ease the traffic congestion and reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, as well as improve the connectivity to both the Mumbai International Airport and the Navi Mumbai International Airport.

The bridge will also enhance the trade and commerce between Mumbai Port and Jawaharlal Nehru Port.

The bridge has some advanced features, such as automated toll collection, intelligent transport systems, and CCTV surveillance.

The toll rates for different vehicles have been fixed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and it's mentioned in the video.

The maximum speed limit for four-wheelers on the bridge is 100 kilometers per hour, while motorbikes, autorickshaws, and tractors are not allowed on the bridge.

The bridge offers a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea and the Mumbai skyline, especially during sunrise and sunset.

It is also a great spot for birdwatching, as it passes through the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary, which is home to thousands of flamingos and other migratory birds.
