Delco the Movie Premiere!!!

The Delco Movie Premiere is finally here! Today I got to view the movie at The Media Theater. I went with my family and my coworker Allyssa! I played as an extra in the party scene and bar scene. I can't wait to do more films in the near future.

I haven't posted a lot in a while! I've been so busy. This past weekend I went to the premiere of the film "Webelo : The West Chester movie". Webelo is a film about two historian smchucks trying to preserve the historical buildings of West Chester, PA. I played as an extra in the bar scene.
I enjoyed watching this silly movie. I loved the main characters (Jared Zimmerman and Casey Costigan) passion behind their love of West Chester's historical influence.

When the movie is published online I will share a link to the movie!

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share that I was a part of the Light and Sound Crew at my ice rink's New Year's Skating Exhibition!!!
Let me tell you I am so happy I got to be a part of it. I used to do AV club in highschool and this reminded me that I LOVE theater production and the arts. In College, I studied Corporate Communications and was a part of the Newspaper club. Now at 26 I'm doing what I love again ❤️ It was an amazing show. We had special guests and Mia Eckels!! For my followers in PA, did you know that Johnny Weir is a local celebrity from Quarryville, PA??? How amazing is that!?

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your show. Hit me up when it's time for the next show 😂😂😂
Remember it's never too late to follow your dreams.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! It's been a crazy year!

I finally made it to Adult 6/ Pre Freestyle. As a Christmas 🎁 gift my family got me a new set of skates! These are the with blade!
My old pair of with Mark II blade were starting to break down on me.

So far, the Jackson Freestyles are much more comfortable. I still have to go through the "Break in" process. They are STIFF. The insides have more padding and the blade was aligned to my foot🦶 . My left ankle leans "Inward" in my boot. Which threw off my balance previously but now it's not as noticable.

I've achieved a lot over the past 10 months. I started lessons back in February 2023. When I enrolled in my first round of lessons I was in Adult Basic level 1. I ended that class in March heading into Adult 3. I took another round of lessons at a different ice rink from March into April. After that round of lessons I made it to Adult 4. I took a break from lessons over the summer but I still practiced in the meantime.
I also took that time to travel to different ice rinks, meet new people, and check out potential Figure skate clubs. I came back to lessons at Ice world in September.

Now after 3 months I'm in Adult 6!
I'm proud of myself and I can't believe how far I've come. Investing in your passions has a huge payout! Keep focused on being motivated and you will be successful!!
Now let's skate ⛸️⛸️😁

Had an awesome time skating with these lovely ladies from my Adult Monday night learn to skate class! Thank you to .om.ice for being an awesome coach and coming up with this cute routine.
It's never too late to .
Now since my second set of learns are over, I wonder what I should do next? 🤔🤔 Maybe its time to join a club or go back to traveling 🧳🧳 We will see!!

My figure skating outfit for my first show! On March 20th I performed at the Spring Exhibition show at Ice World in Abingdon, Maryland. It was an awesome experience for my first show. I can't wait to do more!

For today's Motivational Monday post- I had my first figure skating recital! During the Spring Exhibition show at Ice World, my former Sunday morning Adult Learn to Skate class demonstrated the basic figure skating maneuvers. I got the chance to meet so many figure skaters. It was a fun time. I have another show coming up in April!!

For today's Monday motivational post-
Round one of lessons down . After 7 weeks of lessons, I finished at level 3. My coaches Jeff and Nancy were awesome and very encouraging 😎 I have made significant improvement ⛸️⛸️.

My skate mates were cool people. I hope you meet you guys again at a public session!

Thank you again for your support.
My next set of lessons start today at a different ice rink! Let's see how much I will improve these next 7 weeks. I would love to qualify for freestyle skate by the end of this year 😁😁

I also want to say thank you to all my followers for giving me encouragement to keep skating 💕💕 It's never too late to learn to skate.

Outfit inspo post! This is from last week's practice. The Full Metal alchemist: Brotherhood jacket is my favorite.
The bright red makes me stand out so much on the white ice. Underneath, I have a short sleeve Sailor Moon shirt. The figure skater pants are from Amazon. They are stretchier than regular leggings. The pants come with extra material at the end to cover the skate. Totally recommend the skater pants if you practice a lot. I'm gonna get another pair!

Casual outfit this time at the rink 😊😊 Do you ever feel like you need to "thaw out" 🥶🥶 after practice? Here's what to do!
-Make sure to drink hot tea/ or hot chocolate afterwards.
-Make sure to change into warm clothes
-Change your socks!! Sweaty socks are not good for your feet
-Put on a hoodie
-snuggle under a blanket
-Make sure to eat something! You burn so many calories while skating. Your body needs those calories to warm up. Grab a snack.

Hopefully this helps you thaw out quicker after practice 😂😂
