This Is a tad shameless but it isn’t every day that you meet someone who has performed with David Bowie, Luther Vandross and Chaka Khan. Earlier today, I did a live interview with Ava Cherry at a David Bowie fans’ convention on the BBC Merseyside afternoon programme. I just had to have a photo, as did many other Bowie fans 🙂.

Two blind women from Wirral want voting to be made more accessible so they can vote in secret.

Igloo, the new album by the Liverpool band The Vow, will be officially launched in September at a tribute gig to singer and guitarist Graham Trust, who passed away in October.

While Graham is still very much missed by his family and many friends, we are at least lucky that he left us loads of great music to enjoy.

All the money raised at the gig which is taking place at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, will be donated to the Samaritans and other mental health charities.

Anyway, don’t let the fact that I may be doing a little cameo at the gig on September 22, put you off from buying tickets.
