My thoughts this morning were —The world is hurting. We are all hurting collectively, as a whole, and yet seem so separate.

Then I asked myself how does a person deal with “the world” on top of the hurting in their own life struggles?

✨As I’m pondering, I’m listening to a podcast that recommends another podcast about mindfulness with Ram Dass. A name I’ve heard but I’m not familiar with. I start listening and he starts talking directly to the questions I was pondering.✨

“When you are sufficiently quieted and centered you are in the presence of all of it.

In the moment when you are quiet.It’s as if you are aware of the totality of it.

When it is an act of no attachment, it is in harmony with that which impaled out of the past and that which is about to happen in the future.

When I am fully here in the moment; in the expanded sense. My action is harmonious across-the-board. Whatever comes out of me is honoring all of it, it’s not denying it.”

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that I haven’t released season 3 of my podcast, Frank & Chipper.

I thought I had found my voice.

However, through therapy, self development, and starting to deconstruct the religion I was raised in, have all shown me I still have work to do.

My journey to finding my voice will end with me being loud and clear.

Being stronger than my fears of judgement.

Believing I belong.

I will rage against the river.

Feel my pain, heal, and use it to feel the pain of another.

I will let it speak for the ones who aren’t yet really free.

Because I have a voice!

I am breaking generational curses so from the mouths of my kids’ mother to the lips of my daughters we can dream like our brothers, speaking loud like our fathers.

By using our voice we can heal.

I have a choice.

I have a voice.

Went to my pharmacy today!

I’ve been out of meds for 3 days😬

Do you know the feeling?

For those of you who can’t relate. Imagine being out of your medication for 3 days.

Whatever it is.

Would you be in pain?

Would you be having withdrawal symptoms?

Would you feel suicidal?

I’ve had all of these symptoms getting off R x’s or even missing a few days.

I feel miserable. 🥴🤢

So...I was out of my medicine for three days.

I took CBD.

Did a little more mental work than usual.

Let my family know I was out of meds.

Worked through it.

Could I have done that with my other doctor prescribed meds.

Absolutely not!

I would have been LAID OUT FLAT in bed or begging to go to the hospital. (Experience is my teacher. When I got pregnant I had to immediately get off my anti-deparessant)

I’m not kidding when I say this.

I. Thought. I. Was. Going. To. Die.
...and my baby die with me.

Today, I am so thankful for plant medicine like CBD and medical ma*****na.

My only regret, I wish I would have found it sooner.

They’re literally saving my life daily!

P.S. I knew nothing about any of this until about 5 years ago.

There are so many questions!

So many unknowns.

So much insecurity.

So many stigmas to get over in your own mind.

I KNOW!!
