"Students and families may not choose to opt out of engaging with any instructional materials, other than ‘Family Life and Human Sexuality Unit of Instruction’ which is specifically permitted by Maryland law. As such, teachers will not send home letters to inform families when inclusive books are read in the future.” -MCPS 2023

Parents are furious in not having the option to opt their children out of being exposed to LGBT+ curriculum. Some concerns over if the content of these books are age appropriate. Others fear this is the beginning of schools slowly infringing the personal lessons and morals parents attempt to instill in their children.

MCPS has stood firm on making the classroom inclusive to all students and hasn't reformed the new policy as of yet.

Gov. Moore signed off on multiple laws friendly to recreational smokers in MD. This one includes denying the police power to conduct stop and searches based on the smell of Ma*****na. This also includes barring police from arresting individuals possessing money with a personal use amount ( 1.5 ounces of flower/ 12g concentrate) in their vehicle or person.

A step in the right direction for letting the American people do whatever the f**k they want.
