There’s no way to explain this nicely or to butter it up so I’m just going to say it as it is: my last 4 weeks have been absolute hell
I had some health problems and difficulties with people I love, I stopped doing what I love the most a long time ago due to immigration procedures (travel) and that has taken a toll on my mental health. I ended up quitting all my other passions (writing, comedy, YouTube/podcast) because of it
This weekend I traveled back to Quebec in an effort to rekindle that fire in me, to remember how it feels to have some sort of “self-love”, it maybe isn’t a big trip but it helped me reconnect with the writer within me
There’s still much to do in order to help myself, to let past trauma go and move on but it’s bloody hard, it requires patience and lots of work which is difficult when you feel “done”
There’s no actual point to this post, no “be kind to others you never know their struggle” none of that. I just wanted to share some feelings, open up, become better. In a way I’m proud I’m writing this, trying to come back to who I was
I want to create amazing content for all of you, share my knowledge and love for other cultures as long as I am on this earth
Thanks for reading, I can’t promise I’ll achieve “betterness” or finally let go, but I’m sure as hell gonna bloody try!!
