There is no doubt that producing content costs money. Reason #6: Mailing lists can be used to run a two-track marketing campaign.

The creation of a highly targeted mailing list is the core of a content-based audience relationship marketing campaign on social media. This isn't what you think, to be clear. Many people believe that after creating the list, they will be on their way to becoming millionaires. Absolutely incorrect One step is missing.

Your mailing list is actually a "general" mailing list when someone joins it. By "general," I don't mean that it covers every topic imaginable. I'm not bringing that up. I'm referring to interest in the particular topic generally. At this point, it's really impossible to tell who is a buyer and who is merely gathering information while deciding whether or not to trust you enough.

Making a general list allows you to eventually try to upsell people to a buyer's list.

How do you go about that? You do, however, sell inexpensive items on your general list. A booklet can be purchased for $1. What the cost is really doesn't matter. It must be extremely low because the goal here is to give people a way to identify themselves as buyers, and you want to make the process as simple and easy as you can. Most people almost never think about a dollar.

They won't feel that purchasing your product is too difficult. However, once they are on your buyer's list, you cross them off of your general list and have a pure buyer's list. That list is a gold mine, my friend. You send your updates that generate income to that address. In order to get people to look at your case studies and pay top dollar for any affiliate programs or original products you are promoting on your buyer's list, you must first get them to look at your case studies.

A two-track marketing campaign is what this is. It has a tremendous amount of power and made many people wealthy. However, you must avoid making the very common error of believing that once you have a sizable mailing list, everything will be fine. Absolutely incorrect You still need to take one more step.
