Soon African Americans will be able to call Benin home!!!

Benin is set to start allowing African Americans the ability to gain citizenship in Benin.

The citizenship will come with a naturalization certificate and a Benin passport.

African Americans will be able to buy land start business and open bank accounts with no problem in Benin. we will no longer have to buy visas to enter Benin or any of the other 15 Ecowas countries.

There are requirements. African Americans will have to show proof of sub-Saharan lineage. This can be done 1 or 3 ways. Showing civil status documents, authenticated, testimonies or DNA test conducted by accredited institution in Benin.

More details to follow as parliament is scheduled to review and vote on the matter soon.
