Jennifer Styers | The Determined People Podcast
There are over 100 million single people in the United States. With all of the choices in dating apps, you would think this number would be much less. If you want to increase your chances of success in finding and developing a relationship, perhaps you should consider a matchmaker.
Jennifer Styers has been in the “love” business for over 20 years, and she has helped many singles find their soulmates. In today’s episode, we discuss why matchmakers offer a greater chance of success (over 80%) than dating apps (only 10%). We dive into setting boundaries, how to recognize if you are healthy enough to begin a relationship, and what to do when you just don’t feel that immediate connection.
In addition to matchmaking, Jennifer offers coaching which helps prepare people for when the right person comes along. And, she has developed her own unique app, Lovey AI, that applies science to matchmaking rather than endless swiping along with the disappointment that brings.
If you are ready to find the love of your life, watch my interview with Jennifer Styers. Jennifer could be the catalyst that changes the results you have been getting in the dating world.
Darrell Scott | The Determined People Podcast
In April 1999, America and the world watched in shock and horror as the Columbine High School massacre unfolded before their very eyes. At the time, it was the largest school shooting in U.S. history. In the end 12 students and one teacher were killed. Dozens more were wounded that day while thousands of lives were forever altered.
The first person killed was Rachel Joy Scott. Through a sequence of events only God himself could have orchestrated, an organization named Rachel's Challenge was born. Rachel's Challenge is the largest, most effective in-school program in the world that is creating safer, better-connected schools through telling a story, Rachel's story. Since its founding, the organization receives hundreds of messages from student every year, telling how they had plans to take their own lives until hearing Rachel's story. Further, to date there have been nine "Columbine Copycats" averted because the student had a change of heart and did not want to go through with their plan to shoot their classmates.
My guest today is Darrell Scott, Rachel's father. You will have an opportunity to meet Rachel through her father's eyes and recollections while learning how this remarkable young girl created a legacy that has lived on and changed countless lives after her untimely death. Rachel always said she was going to make an impact on the world, and she is.
