Ateles Films is a wildlife film production company run by Michael Sanderson and Ana L. Santos Utilising pioneering camera techniques for cinema, tv and web.

Ateles Films is a European film production company with office in the Netherlands. We specialise in stories about wildlife, nature and the environment. Including Red Epic cameras, remote controlled drone aerials, macro and other motion control systems. One of the first to use Red cameras for wildlife and drones in the field in 2008. With experience in over 50 countries, Ateles Films delivers high

quality stories and images from intriguing angles. Recent locations included: Morocco, Guatemala, Brazil, Mongolia, Burkina Faso, Romania, Bolivia, Belarus, Ukraine, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, France etc. Languages we work in include English, Dutch, Spanish, French and Portuguese. We also offer some specialist equipment rental and are stock footage content producers.

We are honoured to be part of the preliminary jury for the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival - Silbersalz Festival, which will take place between 30th October to 3rd November 2024 in Halle (Saale), Germany.

Seminar: Wildlife - in conversation with Ana Luisa Santos

Yesterday, Ateles Films ' Ana Luisa Santos had the pleasure to give a seminar about wildlife filmmaking in the Junta de Freguesia de Alburitel, where she shared a bit of her journey as a filmmaker in the wild.
We are very happy with the warm welcome and positive feedback from all the attendees.
Thanks for the opportunity and hopefully more to come in the future.

Today we joined for the activity "Caminhos d'Ourém - Passeios Pedestres 2024" where we hiked along trails where we observed the local nature and wildlife.

Thanks to Junta de Freguesia de Alburitel for. these great initiatives to learn and understand better the wildlife around the world and locally.
