In the process of bombarding the TV tower, Russian missiles hit a nearby holocaust memorial site, Babyn Yar.
A Russian rocket strikes the Ukrainian central TV tower and destroys it. It looks as though they have managed to find an alternative way to broadcast, as Ukrainian TV is now back up and running.
The missile strike in Kharkiv earlier today is also believed to have hit the Slovenian consulate.

The application for Ukraine's membership in the EU under the accelerated procedure has been accepted, registered and is under consideration. This process can still take many, many years to complete, but given these are quite exceptional circumstances I can see some processes being thrown out of the window temporarily.
