It's scary you know. When you think about how easily a human life can be extinguished. Almost like a passing breeze can blow out a fragile candle's light. We've lost a lot of people along the way. It's the way of life and that no one can actually live forever. Hearing about Jason David Frank's passing this morning hit me pretty hard, especially when I found out just how he passed. I've experienced a lot of things in this life, seen many people in and around me pass away, and quite a few over the years who lost the battle within and took their own lives. JDF's passing immediately reminded me of others like Anthony Bourdain, Robin Williams, Hara and Sulli. Those of which who really affected me just as deeply. And the reality is we don't actually know just how much they were suffering that lead them to that eventual conclusion. And as someone who's gone to therapy and talked about it with other people about it, I'm not afraid to say that I've faced that decision myself before. But I've also had a lot of support over the years about this too. In regard to JDF, we don't actually know the circumstances currently, just that he did and that it happened. In fact, he was scheduled to attend another convention sometime this weekend as well, prior to this all happening.
We all face pressure, some more than others and some so immense that it's hard to explain even to those around us. But know that you are loved. Know that there are people out there that care for you. Know that you are worth. And there are people out there, even some that you don't even know, that are there to help. Reach out. Talk to someone. You're not alone in this.
If you live in the US, there's options like the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, which used to be an 800 number, but has been since shifted over to [988].
Remember, you're worth it. And that life is precious. Take care of yourselves.
Rest in Peace, . Your memory will live on in the hearts of all the kids like me who you touched as a Power Ranger.
