Please make sure your livewell's are adequate as we will be checking to ensure they are suitable for the tournament at hand for fish health. May want to consider bringing some frozen 2 liters of water to help with livewell temps. Most anglers on our trail have adequate livewells and oxygen and understand changing water often is a MUST!

We know our friend Joe Owens is hosting his veteran event on Sandusky in the morning we hope some of yall are up to the task to make it back in time and throw down with some of us river folks!

A little bump for the time change so everyone will be home in time for a good nights sleep!

Reminder on slot limits, Per WV Ohio River Regulations...
1 Blue cat over 35 inches, min 25 inches.
1 Flathead over 35 inches
1 Channel over 28 inches

This event and all events are a 3 fish limit, which means a single person team can only have one over in each above categories.
2-3 person teams can only have 2 overs in each category.

Our awesome sponsor Fat Fish Designz LLC hooked us up with a sweet bump board and anyone in attendance last year knows we do it right and measure EVERY fish.

We can't wait to see everyone and get back chasing the awesome sport we all love.

FYI some teams will be there Friday night cooking and hanging out so come early and enjoy a great evening before the event.

So we are now under 4 weeks and counting at 27 days till our first event. Here is the information post.

Reminder on slot limits, Per WV Ohio River Regulations...

🚨Catfish Insanity Update 🚨

Approved bump boards are:
Muskie Bumper brand bump boards. They will be providing discount codes for participants who enter in the event. 💪
Parks Planers certified bump board. He will also be providing a discount code for those participants who enter.💪

Registration is still set to open March 1st. 😁

Event will be July 27th - October 27th.

There may be an additional non required side pot. More on that later. 😏

🚨Updates on Catfish Insanity!🚨

We want to be very transparent as we attempt to accomplish this dream of insanity.

We want to thank Catfish Conference for allowing us to advertise for the event while we are down there this month.

We also want to thank Reel Deel Rods for providing products to give away.

The event will be run thru the FishingChaos app.
Saturday July 27th - Sunday October 27th.

March 1st is the date we are planing to open registration. This date is still subject to change.

Approved bump boards are:
Musky Bumper brand boards

Bump boards being considered:
Parks Enterprise Tournament Certified Bump Board.
Ketch Brand bump boards.
Rapala 60” magnum bump board.

We are learning new things as we go along here. Due to unforeseen expenses regarding credit card fees thru the Fishing Chaos app, polygraph cost, and prizes to give away. We had to drop the payout from 100% to 90%. These payouts are based on 1000 entries with no outside help or contributions. They are not guaranteed pay outs. We are going to do our best to acquire sponsors to help bring this back up to 100%. At this time there are no guarantees that will happen.

Catfish Somewhere will be making event specific apparel of which all profits will go toward pay outs or products to give away if payouts are brought to 100% another way.

The goal of this event is to allow anglers from all over the country to compete against each other on their own time. 😁

One last thing I want to touch on as there seems to be a some misunderstanding on it. This event has three divisions. Flathead, blue, and channel catfish. There is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each species. They are not all grouped together as one. This was done to give more anglers a chance.
