The reason we forfeited Jazba invitational 6:
(Pokemon's POV)

On 25th April Sunday 6th Jazba pro invitational finals were supposed to take place. I and my team, Portal esports were playing another tournament that day. IGL (Indian Gaming League) First light, an Indian hosted tournament. We played the semi finals which started at 2:30PM and ended around 6:00PM. My teammates played this Bo3 while fasting, except myself because I was tested Covid positive. Then we were supposed to play the grand final for IGL at 8:30PM and then the Jazba final at 11:00PM. We let the IGL organizers know that we have a local tournament at 11:00PM and we will leave for it no matter what to which they agreed.
The grand final for IGL was delayed 30 minutes as one of the players from the opposing team had to rush to the hospital, and as we all are aware of the situation in India and the pandemic they are facing. So we waited. We lost the 1st map and won the 2nd one, this all was done by 10:30PM and at this moment the IGL management asked us if we wanted to postpone the 3rd map for tomorrow as we have our Jazba finals in 30 mins. My teammate, Areeb Storax Rehman messaged one of the Jazba admins stating that we will need 20 extra minutes to which he said okay and told us to join the zoom meet call afterwards. While this was happening our manager, Abdul moiz asif, was messaging the same admin, and the admin also told our manager the same thing. To go ahead and play our 3rd map. (Screenshots posted below as evidence)
Areeb talking to the admin : https://gyazo.com/8349416b24a668da3ddee988add35494
Manager talking to the admin : https://gyazo.com/880ff348548d32115ceec33e8947c1c1
Nowhere did the admin state that we will be penalized for being late except he was clear to both areeb and the manager that it is fine for us to play the 3rd map, only to khaushi at 10:54PM when we were already in-game he stated that MAYBE we will be penalized by giving one map to the other team about which he wasnt sure.
All the admin had to do was tell us that we can be penalized and we would have asked the IGL tournament organizers to postpone our 3rd map to the other day, which they were completely ready to. However, when the admin gave us the go ahead we played the 3rd map and made it to the Jazba lobby between 11:20PM-11:28PM to be EXACT. As it can be clearly seen in the above screenshot that he said we MIGHT BE penalized if we dont make it by 11:35PM.
The veto began around 11:25 and it was delayed by 10-15mins as the other teams captain was having issues with his in-game chat. After the veto was completed, the other admin present in the lobby "Umerz" casually types in chat 1 map advantage given to MAXD. We were shook and we asked the admin for an explanation as the other admin who gave us the go ahead was present in the lobby, but not replying. Umer provided no explanation and only threatened us to ready up in 5 minutes or we will be given another penalty. We asked multiple times for an explanation, Areeb also tried calling the other admin who we had been coordinating with beforehand. He never picked up.
Umerz then gave us an ultimatum to decide in 5 mins if we want to play with the map disadvantage or not. We decided not to play as it was completely unfair towards us.
After waiting for a while we get a call from another Nodwin admin Ramish Hussain, who in his threatening tone tells us that not playing this tournament will affect us in the future. Then their team leader Mohsin Haroon takes the phone and starts blaming us for playing other tournaments while jazba is going on. Whereas, IGL has been going for almost 2 months.
After the call, we waited for a while again and then saw an official post from nodwin on their youtube stream that stated that the grand final has been postponed to tomorrow night. We felt some relief that the issue has been resolved and we will play a normal game tomorrow night without the map disadvantage. Screenshot attached :

But, no contact or update was given by Nodwin to us or our manager. When the time came they straight up announced MaxD as winner of the grand final, which just shows more incompetence and inability from Nodwin. Also, shows how easy it is for them to lie towards everyone. The same way the admins declined and lied about their statements about giving us extra time. The same way they decided to be unjust towards us just to save their own asses, just so they dont have to admit that they made a mistake.
Today, 2 days after all this happened, I called Mohsin Haroon and asked him for an explanation. He said he does not have the proper details regarding to this matter and I should call Umair, the admin who was in contact with us and who told us it would be fine for us to go ahead and play the 3rd map of IGL. So I did.
Heres the complete recording of the call with Umair : https://drive.google.com/.../1jDDVf.../view...
In which he clearly accepts the mistakes him and his team made.
After this I called Gautam Virk, the CEO of Nodwin. Who was nowhere ready to accept that his team made a mistake and were unjust. Nowhere ready to accept that the hierarchy in his company is flawed and there is misinformation being spread between his company. To clarify this I have the whole call recorded which I will post further if needed. So, as said by the admins before that they were planning a rematch but Gautum said no as we had "abruptly" left the lobby. I clarified it to him that we never left the lobby abruptly. We only left when their admin, Umerz gave us an ultimatum to ready up in the next 5 minutes and play with the one map disadvantage or not play at all. Obviously we chose the latter as it was the right thing to do. He was very political with his answers. He was head-on accusing the IGL organizers for allowing Pakistan to play in their tournament in the first place which caused the time clash. Blaming us for messaging the Jazba admins at 10:30, 30 mins before the match. 10:30 was the check-in time so we messaged the jazba admin at that time to ask if we can play or not, and as he gave us the go ahead, we did. Gautum was also in denial that their team misbehaved and threatened us.
I know and accept the fact that I will find no justice by making this post, but I have to put everything out to spread awareness. Everytime anything unfair and unjust was done to me in esports, I let it go. Not this time. Not ever again.
We were fasting, suffering with covid and we were still ready to play three bo3's in a single day just to be heartbroken at the end.
To end it, we won 5 jazbas in a row. It was our legacy, winning all 6 in a row. It was stolen from us by Nodwin and their Pakistani team. I just hope that this reaches the right person and there is something done, however minimal it might be.
