Songwriter… I’ve busted my ass for the biggest part of my life to be one. I certainly wasn’t born that way. I’ve eat, sleep and breathed it for years. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. I’ve been making music with these guys for years. Since around 2007 or so. Make no mistake, they’re a Rock & Roll band. Pure and simple. We’ve worked for it, bled for it, went days without sleep for it. Fought tooth and nail for it. All through gritted teeth. Played sick and tired. Played full of p**s and vinegar. Played a ton of empty rooms. Played a ton of full ones. All night drives. All day drives. For a 45-90 minute set every night. These people never complain. A group of guys who refused to quit. Refused to take no for an answer. Refused to be denied. I’d fight you for these people. I believe in them that much. We’re believers. Believers in what we do. In the music we make. Believers in the gifts that have been bestowed upon us. That’s the story of DARK HORSE. I love this record. I love these songs. I love these people. Sara and I have been fighting for this thing for years. When anybody in their right mind would have hung it up. We’re not built that way… Thank you guys for the continued support. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it. Come see us play these songs live. We’ll see y’all out there.
