Murphy wanted to go outside, we assumed to the bathroom. With the heat (95), we only leave him unattended for a few minutes then we bring him inside.
I went outside and he is sunbathing laying on the ground staring at the pool. He does this all the time I have to convince him to come back inside.

Is your puppy ready for hiking? 🏔
What I mean, is that just because you are ready to hike intense trails it doesn’t mean your dog is ready.
✨ Always take your veterinarian recommendations above all else.
✨ I held off with Murphy until he was over 11 months. Puppies are growing quick, and while developing their bones, joints, etc. hard trails or running is hard on them! *This trail is walking on flat dirt, nothing intense. ✨ If you have a puppy:
✨✨Do not do more than 5 minutes of walking per month of age up to twice a day!
✨✨ Start with dirt areas, then wooded forests, gradually building up to hiking trails! This kind of terrain could be more difficult so cut your time in half.
✨ As your puppy approaches 1 year, you can begin “real” hikes with the general time limit in mind.
✨ Take lots of breaks!
🐶 Did you know these are typical injuries that puppies get when you do not build up gradually: growth plate injuries, overexertion, dehydration, heat stroke and muscle tears.
