"Joynfuntogether.com organized an online story-writing competition on July 7th, 8th, and 9th in collaboration with the Science Society at SMIU (Sindh Madressatul Islam University). Many SMIU students participated in the competition.
Joynfuntogether.com is a new initiative and Pakistan's first online family magazine.
In the competition results, four students from SMIU secured positions:
1st place: Hira Musawer Khan
2nd place: Muhammad Muzammil Shah
3rd place: Umaima Memon
4th place: Simra Azhar
To distribute prizes to these students, a prize distribution ceremony was held at SMIU on August 17th. Dr. Syed Owais Alam Zaidi, the chairman of Joynfuntogether.com was invited as a chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners

There lived a duck,🦆 Som, in a beautiful🥰 pond with his son duckling, Soma. Som loved Soma too much and always cared🙂 for him. Soma was three years old. He was cute but a naughty one. One day Som was going to his friend's house🏘 and took Soma also with him. The friend's house🏘 was in a deep forest. When they were going to a friend's house, Soma was overjoyed and running here and there, despite being warned by Som. Every time Som had to wait and catch Soma.

Once upon a time,⏳ in the snow-capped mountains🌄 of Kaghan, there lived a girl👩🦰 whose name was Hafsa.👩🦰 Her mother died😵 in a tragic fire accident which scarred😱 her for life. Since then, she👩🦰 lived the life of a helpless orphan who only wanted to be loved and accepted. She was taken into care by her Aunt Razia.👩🦳 Her aunt was the type of person who would do anything to belittle Hafsa👩🦰 in every way she could. She felt that Hafsa was a burden for her.

Two cubs of bear🐼, Tallo, and Matallo, from East Jungle, were on the way to attend the circus at Middle Jungle which would be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They both were cute 😇with brown, thick, and long fur. Their uncle,👴 the father bear,🐼 invited them. They decided to attend the last day’s show, so they came on Saturday to attend the next day’s show.😊

Yesterday evening🏙 there was a party.🥳 My friend🧍 invited me to a party.🥳 I was very much excited🤩 to attend the party.🥳 I dressed👕 up nicely for the party but felt hungry😫 and decided to fry an egg🥚 before leaving. When I was bringing the egg🥚 to the table to eat it, the plate was so hot🥵 that I could not hold it much longer and dropped it with the egg🥚 on my dress👕 and yolk making all kinds of designs.

It was on the beautiful evening🌄 of September when a boy🧍 named Larry got lost. He was playing outside when he saw a butterfly.🦋 He ran to catch the butterfly,🦋 but the butterfly🦋 flew up high. The boy🧍 was not able to catch the butterfly. 🦋After few moments, Larry saw a colorful bird.🐦 He had a camera📸 with him. He chased it to take pictures of it. The bird🐦 was flying away and away while Larry was unmindful that he went far off his home.🌳

There was a girl🧍♀️ who studied in class five. All the time⏳, she complained about every other thing. Her family👨👩👦 was annoyed due to her behaviour and kept trying to make her learn good manners. One day, when she returned from school🏫 and found her mother👩 made her brother's👬 favourite dish, she started crying,🥺 she was screaming that she would not eat🤐 that one and insisted on making her favourite 😋food. She said that if she ate that one, she would vomit.🤮

My mother👩 saw the room and got angry.😡 She always asked me to keep the room clean, but I never paid heed to her advice, and the only reasons being laziness😴 and spending time⏳ on gadgets nothing else. The room was filled with books,📙 clothes, socks, and other kinds of stuff spread all over the room and not a single thing in its proper place. The socks could be seen lying down on the floor as well the clothes were thrown on the bed.🛏 The coat was wet, and instead of hanged up inside the closet, it was hung on the window.🪟

Jalal 🙋♂️went to the terrace and was surprised😳 to see the day was quite dim at this time ⏳of the day. He was a four-year-old clever, innovative boy. There was a solar eclipse, but Jalal🙋♂️ thought the sun stopped giving light. He went to the kitchen and picked up the matchbox. Jalal🙋♂️ went to the terrace again, lighted the match stick, and started jumping🤸 in an attempt to light the sun.☀️

Mun-Mun was an adorable baby rabbit🐰 with snow-white fur, red eyes.👀 He was a genius student👨🎓 of the school.🏫 He was helpful to all. He was polite, gentle, and kind and was popular among the whole of the school.🏫 He had a competitor, and it was a baby lion.🐅 Both were shining students👨🎓 of the school.🏫 The baby lion🐅 had tutors at home🏘 while Mun-Mun had his old aunty fox teaching👩🏫 him after school.🏫 She loved him much and always taking care of him. She was the real super person caring for him after his mother. 🥰

It was last year when the school🏫 proceedings were going on as usual. The final assessments were near, and teachers👩🏫 and students👨🎓 were busy giving their best shot. After the first lesson, it was the English class that kept the students'👨🎓 concentration and interest intact. The next class was Social Studies. Soon after the teacher👩🏫 arrived in the class, she told us to take our social studies textbooks📋 out of our bags. She told us to turn to page 77 as we were starting a new chapter📖

There was a football⛹️♂️ tournament🏆 in the school🏫 last month, and every team tried 😩its best to stand on the victory stand. I was the captain of my class. Osman's🧍♂️team was regarded as the favorite of the tournament.🏆 He and his team knew it very well, and they were very confident in clinching the cup.🏆 Osman and his teammates ridiculed the opponents badly and bullied them.

He was sitting at the side of the road,🛣 with his right elbow at his knee and palm on his chin. Nobody knew since when he was there, but everyone could judge that he was looking sad😔 and gloomy. It was the mountainous⛰ path of Al - Hada, the famous path from Taif to Makkah.🕋 The cars were passing by him up and down ways, but he was not much interested.😍

Saad😞 was coming from his school🏫 and going🚶♂️ back home.🏘 He was carrying🥰 a heavy bag which was full of books.📒 As his home🏘 was ten minutes-walk🚶♂️ from the school,🏫 he usually went by on his foot. However, he was upset😢 about carrying😇 too much load from the books📒 causing aches in his shoulders. He was trying to walk fast to reach home🏘 as early as possible, get away from the burden, and rest his body.

In a forest,🌳 there lived a lion.🐅 He had grown old and could not run fast anymore. As days went by, it became more and more difficult for him to hunt.
One day while he was wandering through the forest🌳 searching for food🧐, he came across a cave. He peeped in and smelt the air inside the cave. “Some animal must be staying here,” he said to himself. He crept inside the cave only to find it empty. “I will hide inside and wait for the animal🦓 to return,” he thought.

Suddenly the noise started👍 erupting from the top of the forest.🌲 The flying birds🕊️ over the forest🌲 were asking for help.😰 They were calling loudly; Help, Help, Help. Nobody knew, what happened to them, why they need help, and who could help them. These days were for summer vacations,🌈 the weather was hot,🥵 and the temperature was shooting up daily. They heard a high pitch scream, “My puppy’🐹’, from one side of the road.🛣 That lady’s puppy🐹 ran in the middle of the road🛣 while a fast-running car🏎 was approaching and about to rundown him. In a blink of an eye,👀 there was a quick jump of Cheetah picking the puppy🐹 in his lap and ran away on the other side of the road. 🛣
