I had my surgery follow-up appointment today. The pathology showed I had a stage 1A non-invasive cancer in my left o***y, and a stage 1A invasive cancer in uterus. Also had benign tumor in right o***y and small cyst in right fallopian tube. Fallopian and endometrial tissue growing in lots of places. But everything else was benign and not cancer. Lymph nodes negative for cancer. So this is great news. No treatments needed. I will follow up with gyn-oncology and have an exam every 6 months for 2 years, along with blood work to check tumor marker (CA125), then it will be once a year for 3 years. If all good then just normal yearly gyno appointments. Thank you all for thoughts, prayers and encouragement. It helped more than you could ever know.

So when the oncologist told me it was EIN instead of cancer and 50% chance precancer vs cancer she was mistaken. KU's own examination of the slides from the D&C confirmed uterine cancer. I was really clinging to that 50% chance of pre. Full pathology is coming and we won't know grade, stage, extent until that comes back. But post surgery diagnoses are:
Post-op Diagnosis
* Endometrial cancer (HCC) [C54.1]
* Bilateral ovarian cysts [N83.201, N83.202]
* Serous surface papillary tumor with borderline malignant features [D39.10]

The serous surface tumor was in my left o***y and it looks like I may have some of those lesions in my abdomen wall if I understood the doctor correctly. It's alot to take in. She did say that I'll be doing follow-up care for 5 years. Treatment will be decided after the full results come back.
