Adoption is Hard. But God is Good. A Podcast for those who need to see Hope and Light through the Adoption Journey

My name is Denise Grimes, and I am an adoptive parent and prior foster parent who is in the trenches just like many of you. I’m also an Adoption Support Specialist serving families through their adoption journey. I’ve been blessed to share my story countless times and worked with many families through the years, and I have always been struck by the number of times I see God’s hand moving throughou

t these stories. I know it shouldn’t surprise me, because He cares about all of the details and is working all things out for His glory and our good, but the way in which He does this continues to astound me. My hope is that every other week, I will gather with others who are somewhere in their adoption journey, and together we will be able to share hope and encouragement as we talk about how God is at work in their lives through adoption.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Psalm 63:3 "Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You."

Even in the darkest hallways, where we are searching for a door to open or a window to appear, we can still find His light shining and praise His name. Join me as we praise Him through the hallway.
