With Distant Shores – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉My site, TheSailingChannel.TV has been a Distant Shores TV affiliate for many years. I've met Paul and Sheryl Shard several times in Annapolis MD (where I lived for 50 years) during Annapolis Sailboat Shows. I feature 5 of their early Distant Shores TV episodes in my Public TV series, Sailing Channel Theater, which aired on WLIW, sister station to WNET NY and then moved on to WPBT2, South Florida PBS. Most recently I produced and edited Lin Pardey's video seminar series, Storytelling for Sailors, which includes Paul and Sheryl 's half-hour episode about broadcast and YouTube video production. Distant Shores is an excellent combination of sailing-travel entertainment and sailing knowledge.
