Still one of my favorite projects to date 🫠✨

1 — because music videos music videos music videos are the absolute DREAAMMM (still manifesting full time career as a music video director 😎)

2 — because from the moment & I met on set of a commercial shoot and decided to spontaneously create a music video project together, we ideated, planned, produced, directed and filmed this project in multiple locations all over Brooklyn all within 2 days 🥹🥵🔥💫

Had the absolute honor of supporting with a new Brand Video + Photography that showcase the exciting launch of their new workshop space, and highlight their biggest projects yet! 🤩💫✨

I love getting to create projects with brands who are looking for a clearer way to express the new directions they’re moving in — and embody that expansion & growth on camera through new assets that represent the elevation of the new era of your business 😍🎥📸

Was so fun getting to create an abundance of new assets for Mayfly to celebrate their expansion! I’ll be posting the brand video we made for them soon 😏

Mayfly is an incredible, heart-centered small business local to Denver, that specializes in stunning custom tables and woodworking. Their goal is to bring deeper connection with nature into each of their installations, whether it’s completely revamping an entire commercial space, or bringing beautiful pieces into people’s homes.

We went into this shoot knowing we were shooting some big projects & installations — but only upon arriving realized they built a whole ass CLUB! Featured throughout the entirety of the massive space — ceilings, wall panels, tables, bars, decor, Mayfly’s woodworking touches are featured throughout the entire space! 🌲

Such a fabulous team of humans we got to work with!! Thank you & Tyler for being so fun to co-create with, their entire team for rolling with the punches & bringing the vibes to the shoot day, and my queen .skeels for supporting as PA throughout the entire day! 🤍🎥📸

Okay y’all …. Wow 🥹✨ it’s been absolutely beautiful feeling the magic of coming back to Reah in this way and receiving so many incredible aligned magnetic inquiries! What a dream to get to co-create with so many fabulous humans. ✨

I’ve been a Photographer / Videographer for 8+ years, but Reah herself was birthed almost exactly a year ago this month! 🥹

I needed a full refresh and reset to re-anchor in the purpose of it all. I remembered this is what it’s all for — the process of co-creating in service of something bigger. Telling stories artfully with humans & companies dreaming big and making big impacts in the world.

The intention with Reah was always to bring the art back. Her name means “to flow” in Greek, and the new era has always been about that. Softer, more intentional, more immersed in the heart & energy of why we’re creating in the first place.

So now with getting to come back to Reah after Glowin & Growin, it’s been so beautiful to have such a warm space to land in.

Whenever I’m reorienting myself back into something I like to walk myself through this very simple exercise. What is it? What is it doing? Who is it for? How do you do it?

These pillars provide such a simple framework for the core of your business, its purpose, and what/who it’s servicing.

I’ve been sitting with the energy of Reah for the past few weeks reimmersing in her energy, listening to who she wants to become.

There’s a reason why we focus on “EMBODIMENT” on camera, rather than just “POSING”

They are very connected , but photoshoots can easily be perceived as just surface level… which is where we come in.

Yes, we want you to look fly as f*ck, AND your photoshoot is the best possible way to practice the embodiment of who you desire to become.

We all have goals and choices in mind for our lives. There gets to be a balance of celebrating all we’ve created, just as much as we set intentions for more growth.

But often it takes more than purely logic to get where we want to go. We hear it from meditators, neuroscientists, coaches — there is a tangible magic to dropping into your body & rehearsing the emotional existence of who you want to become.

How are you moving? What do you relationships feel like? What are you creating?

So here’s where the power comes in — things like mental rehearsal, meditation, & somatic movement are the tools that support us in creating a new reality. SO — think about practicing all these things in front of a camera, where afterwards you get a visual example of your embodiment.

The videos/photos reflect back to you your being-ness when you’re embodying your desires through your energy. A reference point that you get to hold in your awareness, that scientifically supports your brain as PROOF of who you’re capable of being 🥹

Through my own embodiment practices & somatic work, I’ve practiced these methods on camera, & have noticed such a difference in my expression & satisfaction with what I see in the photos. It feels more ME than ever. This is why I practice shooting with other photographers & being on camera, so I can coach myself better into comfortability, & therefore coach YOU.

Being in front of a camera can be intimidating for everyone. So when you bring an intention to your heart, making it FOR YOU — the process comes alive, serving a deeper purpose for your liberation.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about artists relationship with pain.

It’s such a powerful catalyst to our clearest expression sometimes. Our ability to alchemize struggle into magic is like this potently magnetic superpower we have. It just flows through us.

But within myself I was trying to catch where I was subconsciously creating extra chaos in my life just so I could alchemize it into something…

I’ve reached this new era of expression where my art gets to be an example of liberation, as I release the identity of struggle.

What if I could create just to create more ripple effects of joy, rather than creating to escape something?

I knew I just needed to create — art from liberation, art for liberation.

And immediately the first person that came to mind was this queen ❤️‍🔥

She’s like the most vibrant living embodiment of the energy of possibility. She brings hope & light & vitality into every room she walks into.

And I feel her wholeness in connecting to her depths & shadows just as much as she exudes joy & love.

She’s simply an icon, so we had no plan but to express something into the world. Art for joy ❤️‍🔥
