Jinjé did a little video remix of the animation by Joe White (original artwork by Luke Embden Studio) for the third track on his release. This track is Dusk, a bit more of a dreamy chilled vibe! Nice!

We had heard of Shangaan Electro, but not Shangaan Disco. Definitely a Scene unseen by us until stumbling across this new release from Afrosynth Records, E & S Brothers’ 1985 album Taduma. A massive hit in it's time that pre-dated other prominent South African scenes such as Bubblegum and Kwaito, of which it was a huge influence. and like these scenes, this album also incorporates elements from traditional Shangaan/Tsonga music.
