I was at Target today and someone came up to me in the parking lot asking me to sign a petition to raise minimum wage from $15/hr to $22 ... for Fast Food workers 😒🙄🤦‍♀️ I was soo confused/annoyed that this was even a thing. I've never worked in Fast Food, nor do I have a degree, but I know I've never made that much!
The only reason I'm even comfortable talking about that now, is because I know my worth & I know that I don't want to be stuck in a "9-5 Job" working for someone else at the same pay (with 50 cent raises) for the rest of my life. I started this new business so that I can have financial freedom & spend more time actually living... Yes, I'm grateful for my current job that is helping pay the bills & supporting my business but I hope I won't ever have to beg people on the street to sign a petition to help raise the dollar amount I earn. That just sounds "too easy" & ridiculously unfair to the people who are actually working their butts off

This is my inspiration to decorate my home this weekend & my reminder to make sure we actually go to a pumpkin patch this year ! 😅 we've gone ONCE since we started dating & had so much fun getting lost in the corn maze 🌽 for no more than an hour but I just remember the relief & excitement we felt when we finally made it out! 😂 here's to a new month of adventures & a future full of alot more "Finally" moments 😊🧡

Been such a fun week enjoying our time in Hawaii & coming home to celebrate a family wedding but I'm definitely exhausted 😴 I also got sick sometime in between both & I feel like I havent really had a break or rested... & somehow we've already made it back to Monday 🙈

I'm so glad our friends convinced us to join them on an island adventure 🏝 it feels like I've been given a glimpse of what my dreamlife could be & has given me the motivation to keep going on this new journey/business I've created. We are already dreaming of our next BIG adventure! 🌺
