🪺 EMPTY NESTERS 🪹
I love this new chapter of our life. The freedom to just pack some things and take off, not have to get babysitters to go and see a movie, watch whatever show I want on tele, not have to lay awake till 4am waiting for someone to come home, no wet towels on the floor, no cap less bottles of shampoo in the
shower dribbling down the drain.
FREEDOM again.
But I miss it too. Sooooo much. I miss cuddles in bed, I miss their happy smiling faces, I miss having dinner chats, I miss them asking me random questions, I miss their friends coming around, I miss so many things.
I can say one thing for sure - I have no regrets. I feel like my girls were ready to seek their own adventures and live their own unique beautiful lives. I know I have taught them more in life than - not to stick your tongue in a bar beer tap and that mothers have eyes in the back of their heads.
I know I have taught them to be themselves, to laugh at themselves and with themselves, to love and be loved and to love life with every cell in their bodies.
I have watched them grow to beautiful young women who I am so proud of.
We are on our next chapter and so are they, and I am so grateful that we are still a big part of their lives.
We will never stop being their parents.

How important is it to have guidance in business
Having businesses before, I realised I had to figure out most things out as i went along. I think this is the same for most people, we all learn as we go.
Imagine if there was a place you could go and talk to people in the same business as you? A mentor or coach that could help you with things you wanted to know and even things you didn’t realise you needed to know?
To reach real success you need the guidance of someone who has already done what you want to do or someone who is already living the life you want to live.

Just over 6 weeks ago I launched my online affiliate marketing business.
Wow!
Am I grateful.
I am so grateful that I overcame my fear and doubt, and went all in. My vision and my dreams meant too much to me not to. It was hard, but I did it.
I’ve spoken to so many people in that 6 weeks that are so tired of being stuck, and wanting more but not knowing how or what to do. I had no idea, when I started that I would be able to HELP so many others to face THEIR fears head on and achieve THEIR dreams and goals.

They are the reason I am who I am.
Mike and Trish, mum and dad, nanny and grandad ❤️
Couple goals right there. At 82 and 80 they are still so in love with each other and life.
Not a day goes past that I don’t hear one of them say - god I love life.
Like any family, we have all had ups and downs, happy and sad moments, hardships and easy ships 🤷🏼♀️ 😂 but never have I heard either of them whinge about anything. They just get on with life, happily, with laughter and love.
They are part of my reason WHY!

TIME
The first thing I ask people when they want to join my online business is what do you want most in your life.
Well apart from money, most say more time.
More time to;
- travel
- spend with the kids
- surf
- cook
- hang out with friends
- have long lunches
More time to do whatever you love.

This was my grandmothers favourite cup and saucer.
NEVER did we see a mug in her house it was always Bone China cups, saucers and plates.
As a Child I loved the sound of her putting the cup back on the saucer after taking a sip of tea. I did this this morning while I was having my tea and that sound made me so happy.

It was right here that I realised - there has to be more.
I’d sold my cafe 6 months earlier and after lockdowns we were finally free to travel this gorgeous country 🚐
I had no idea what I wanted to do from here on in, I’d think about that when we got home.
So sitting here watching the full moon come up 🌝 i realised I did not want to go back to ‘normal’ it scared me so much. I wanted the freedom. There had to be a way to do what we wanted with out being tied down. So I searched 💻 and searched.
Bam 💥 a post came up from a gorgeous lady who wanted exactly the same things as me. I wanted what she had.
That’s when my life changed. I joined her in this amazing journey in an online business, and I have not looked back.
My only regret - I didn’t do it sooner. My future is exciting.

Life Balance - how do you get it?
I feel like EVERYBODY is talking about this at the moment. What IS life balance? What does a life balance look like? 👀
I think, it’s a beautiful balance of all aspects of your life. Business, work, fun, family and leisure.
When I had the cafe, my work would come with me EVERYWHERE I went. Not just the hours I was physically working in the business ☕️ There would always be something. I had no balance what so ever. My work was literally my life.
Since selling it, I now look at all the time I wasted. My life is now so much more balanced and SO much more enjoyable (at little too much emphasis on enjoyable atm) I now HAVE so much more time.
Automation is the key - that’s why it never worked for me before - I was doing EVERYTHING. Having a business that has automation GIVES you time ⏰ it does your hard work while you are doing what you enjoy doing. If only I had found this sooner 😩
Oh and scheduling things - yes I’ve learnt to use a calendar
Balance? I now know it means - work smarter, not harder 😬

Another day…..another juice 🥤
Do you juice? I am obsessed with juicing. I try and squeeze a one in every day. It’s a massive part of my daily routine. Normally I use celery, carrot, beetroot, an apple, lemon and coriander. I also add greens powder 🥦 and dragon fruit powder into the mix.
I’m juice so excited now to add my Kangen water 💦 into my routine 😜 (see what I did there 😬)😳
