With all these TikTok bans happening, looks like Instagram's rolling out the welcome mat for TikTok users by making things feel a bit more like home.
Plus, let's be real - we're all scrolling on vertical phones anyway, so why stick to squares? Makes sense, right? 🤔

Quick tip if your grid's giving you anxiety:
Just hit those three dots on your last 12 posts and "Adjust Preview" will be your best friend. Don't waste time going further back though - trust us!

What a Day at Envisage HR Solutions's Lunch and Learn! 🍽️

Our director Laura had an absolute blast at yesterday's Lunch and Learn hosted by Envisage HR!

She said, "It was such an insightful lunch! Hearing from Alana and Neil from NS8 Group was a real eye-opener. They shared some wild real-world examples, like the case of a council employee who got workers' comp after tripping over a 60-centimetre pet fence during a coffee break at home! Crazy, right?

It really highlights how important it is for businesses to operate professionally, even when the vibe is casual. The discussions with other businesses in the room were awesome—everyone was on their own unique journeys, but we all took away some great insights."

According to Instagram’s content team, posting Reels longer than 90 seconds can hurt your reach. This insight was shared at a creator event in New York last week, where Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri discussed platform updates, the algorithm, and more.

Key takeaways:

👉 Reels longer than 90 seconds can reduce distribution.
👉 Post at the same times as other platforms for broader branding.
👉 Avoid low-quality content, engagement bait, and watermarked videos.

Why allow longer Reels if they hurt reach? While Instagram has been testing 3- and 10-minute Reels, it seems shorter content performs better.
