*SEARCH FOR SAMANTHA MURPHY* Volunteers are invited to participate in the search on Saturday, February 24, 2024, starting at 10:00 am at Eureka Stockade Memorial Park on Eureka Street.

Ground Crew is issuing a call to the public to join our search efforts.
We fully appreciate that there are many different opinions on what should and shouldn't be happening, but we remain steadfast in believing that searching for anything that can assist the authorities is worth pursuing.
Furthermore, after researching other similar incidents, our group plans on keeping the forward momentum and enthusiasm going in our efforts to find answers. In other words, we don't want the search for Samantha to just fade away like so many others have.
Volunteers are invited to participate in the search next Saturday, February 24, 2024, starting at 10:00 am at Eureka Stockade Memorial Park on Eureka Street. The group is specifically seeking individuals who are willing to offer their time and energy to assist in combing through designated areas in and around Ballarat.
"We are grateful for the overwhelming support we have received from the community so far but it’s important to not lose momentum now," said Tori Baxter, Volunteer at Ground Crew. "However, we still need more volunteers to join us in this crucial search for Samantha. With "Safety first" in mind, we plan on getting small groups to stick together and ensure that they are adequately equipped to look after themselves and each other."
Ground Crew is also seeking support from local businesses that are able to donate fluorescent vests, whistles, and other items that may assist their search efforts this coming Saturday. Safety is of the utmost importance, and all volunteers need to be equipped with the relevant safety gear necessary.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering is encourage to meet up on Saturday or can contact Ground Crew Samantha Murphy on Facebook.
Smaller targeted searches are still being conducted by the Ground Crew daily.

Today marks 12 years since I last saw my beautiful mum. We went school shopping and she dropped me off at a sleepover. Later that night, her life was taken from her.

Our life together had just started and just like that, it was over. My mum has never been found and I have never been able to say goodbye to her.

In honor of my mum, The Tina Greer Project is raising money for The Missed Foundation, whose purpose is to alleviate the impact of missingness.

Having a missing loved one is all-encompassing and consumes your entire life. From the emotional torment, dealing with the media and police to administration nightmares or wondering how many years you should keep their clothes.

Although it doesn’t get easier, being supported by someone who gets it and knows how to help is life-changing.
