Saluda Grade

Saluda grade is best known for being the steepest standard gauge mainline grade in the United States. Tackle the "Mountain of Challenge" today and test your skills in the engineer's seat as you lead trains up and over the massive 5% grade.

Cheez has absolutely outdone himself with both versions of this iconic grade! Again, one of the best projects we've had at TSB!

TSB Connell Branch

The Connell branch is a small layout spanning a 40ft x 40ft room with small staging yard and storage room over next door. The layout starts in the town of Reed, where cars from the Class 1s are interchanged for industries across the layout. Heading south we roll through the sights of a plentiful fall harvest until we arrive at the town of Connell. Housing 3 industries and engine facilties, Connell is the main base of operations over the layout. For Trainz 22 and UP!

Something a little different from all the full scale railroading we've done, was a super fun project and I would love to do another!

Sweet Carolina!

Organized in 1873, the P&P was built to facilitate a connection between the Upstate of South Carolina and the vast Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The line was originally built encompassing a line from Pleasantville to Thatcher until 1888 when the road built the line from Thatcher to Beaconsville. Until 1892, most of the railway's shares were bought out by the Richmond and Danville Railroad. Due to the consolidation of the railroads in 1894, the former P&P was officially taken over by the Southern Railway and its vast systems.
Phase I of Sweet Carolina encompasses a little over 25 miles of the former P&P Mainline & Atlantic Coast Line of East Pleasantville.

Chad has absolutely knocked this out of the park! One of the finest route I've had the honor to help with!
