It actually gave more meaning to your legacy and even won the hearts of more people globally by still putting on a good fight at age 42. You have proven time and again that you are still the fearless fighter who's willing to go head to head with the best boxers in the world. Indeed, the last of his kind. You have raised the bar so high and paved the way for Filipino athletes to strive to be the best version of themselves. Likewise, you have inspired a generation to be better in anything that they do. You are truly a great role model in sports and in life.
And despite this global pandemic, you were still successfull in using the sport of boxing to bring hope, entertainment and inspiration to many people around the world, especially the Filipinos. You have the power to bring people together and unite a nation even in its darkest times. A true hero!
