We’re so proud we were able to foster Casper (Guardians of Hope dog), Harriet, Peter, Andy, Luke & Leia in 2023!
Obviously we foster failed Luke and made a few reels for Violet, Apollo, Yoda & JoJo.
Volunteering with New Hope Dog Rescue has brought so much joy to this house. ♥️ Hayley Sarah
2023 was a huge year for us…. 🐶✨
What is our goal?
To provide a safe, foster-based environment for neglected, unwanted, abandoned, ill & stray dogs, while promoting the human animal bond through education and community outreach.
Why do we do what we do?
We recognize dogs as an integral part of the family unit and the human animal bond is the central concept for NHDR - with that, we strive to reduce and resolve dog overpopulation in Saskatchewan, provide safe foster-based environment to rescued dogs, provide necessary medical care, but most importantly educate the public & give everyone in the community an opportunity to help where is needed - even in the smallest ways.
Why was 2023 such a big year for us?
20 years of service to the dogs in our community.
271 dogs fostered.
113 active foster homes.
243 dogs adopted.
25 guardians of hope.
45+ adoption events in & around our community.
It is more than just the numbers. It’s the relation within the community, the fun events we hold with our partners, the time spent getting to know eachother within the rescue world. And so. much. more.
While if love could save them all, we would never be heartbroken. It’s the sad reality in the rescue world, but without you guys we could not do what we do to help advocate for those who cannot help themselves.
We go through love, loss, grief, heartbreak, extreme happiness, joy and everything else you can ever feel while working day in and day out to try and give another being the best possible life.
To our followers, community partners, partner vet clinics, supporters, adopters, volunteers, board members, foster homes & everyone in between - thank you.
Let’s make 2024 the best one yet. 🐾🤍
