Am Samuel Mwangi Kamau, an innocent Kenyan & law abiding citizen. I hereby share my swon affidavit inorder to clear my name after I was arrested & charged in court at Kenol following an incident of mistaken identity by law enforcement officers where I was being implicated with cases of insecurity & paraded as Wagathanwa.

The incident badly damaged my name to even loosing my job. To dear Kenyans, I seek clarification following the incident & humbly request that if you get this information, help me to share information to others inorder to clear my name.

I lost everything after being posted in majority of media platforms, newspapers & media networks. Police alleged me as wagathanwa but after muranga DCI who requested that I should be detained for 3 days for them to do investigations, the Muranga Court found me being innocent.

Unfortunately, I lost my job & nobody knows my other side of the story, since no media networks highlighted about my release. Am speechless to learn that the missing Wagathanwa who was on the run was yesterday reported to have finally been arrested by detectives. God bless you.

WAGATHANWA ORIGINAL FINALLY ARRESTED

A man suspected to be the mastermind behind the spate of robberies that have rocked Juja in Kiambu County and parts of Murang’a County, has been arrested by detectives.

Simon Gitonga, alias ‘The Axe Man’ was arrested following an operation by sleuths from the elite Crime Research & Intelligence Bureau, augmented by a contingent of detectives from Imenti North and Murang’a County.

The 54-year-old man who is a serial offender has been on the run and has a warrant of arrest issued by the Thika law courts, for his arrest.

During his arrest, a well sharpened machete was recovered from him.

Detectives in Thika are investigating an incident where a man went to check on his mother at Landless Estate in Thika town, Kiambu County only to find a decomposed body of his mother suspected to have died some months ago inside her house without his knowledge.

According to reports he made to police, his mother's body had already decomposed including her domestic animals comprising of dogs and chickens within the homestead. Sources says that the man had lately checked on his mother in December 2022.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗛 BY TRANSPORT CS HON. KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN

Yesterday, a trailer Registration No. RAC 164W/RL 2379 registered in Rwanda was involved in a tragic road crash at Londiani Junction leaving 52 people dead and 32 people injured.

FOLLOWING THE TRAGIC INCIDENT, THE GOVERNMENT DIRECTS AS FOLLOWS;

1. All markets along the road reserve should be relocated. County Governments in partnership with the national government through the intergovernmental framework should construct markets off the Highways even as KeNHA constructs access roads to the markets.

2. In the meantime, the Ministry through the relevant agencies will revise speed limits in the area and provide bumps and signage.

3. The National Safety and Transport Authority (NTSA) to include the dangerous section as one of the spots to install speed detection cameras, especially in the upcoming pilot phase, to support the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations.

4. The re-testing of PSV and commercial service vehicle drivers to continue as a way of assessing their competency before the renewal of driving licences.

5. The Ministry in consultation with various stakeholders to finalise the development of the NTSA Operation of Commercial Service Vehicles Regulations.

6. The Ministry to hold consultative meetings with the East Africa Community (EAC) to guide on the harmonisation of motor vehicle inspection in the region.

7. County Transport Safety Committees in all 47 counties to immediately embark on road safety education and awareness programmes for traders, pedestrians, school children and bodaboda operators.

8. The National Police Service, with the support of NTSA to intensify anti-drunk driving operations across the country.

9. Meanwhile EPRA to investigate the sale of unadulterated fuel sold to unsuspecting motorists.

Detectives investigating the death of Jeff Mwathi now believes that Mwathi was killed before he was thrown from the apartment's rooftop in the wee hours of February 23. The officers dismissed claims that the 23-year-old threw himself from Fatxo's bedroom window since the window grills are too small for a person to go through.

Fatxo, who termed Jeff as his good friend, has since denied involvement in his death and said he will cooperate with investigators. Detectives handling the case on Friday noted in their preliminary findings that Mwathi did not die by throwing himself from the 10th floor of a friend's apartment in Kasarani as previously reported.

According to preliminary reports, detectives established that there was a scuffle in the house of key suspect Lawrence Njuguna alias Dj Fatxo after a forensic examination of the house.

Kiambu County Governor Kimani wamatangi has said that Kiambu County is set to attract close to Sh3 billion additional funding in the next financial year from World Bank for urban development in Githunguri, Kabete, Lari, Juja, Gatundu, and Githurai following their upgrading to municipality status.

The process towards conferment of the municipalities charters has today moved to the county assembly for consideration where I am confident it will be ratified.

Each municipality will be getting between Sh400 million and 500 million per year for tarmacking of roads, water connectivity, sewerage, street lighting, and modern markets and other infrastructure.

Further, with the planned upgrading of Thika to an industrial smart city, which is still on course, the town will be getting an allocation of not less than 1 billion annually for development.

Thika Town has been a municipality which has been attracting Sh480 million from World Bank per year but with a city, will also bank on equitable funds to cities, possibility of more funding from national government and international grants to improve infrastructure to align with the needs of a city.

Kiambu County now has twelve municipalities which cumulatively, will be attracting approximately Sh4 billion per year.
The others are Kiambu, Limuru, Thika, Ruiru, Kikuyu and Karuri which have in the last four years experienced major facelifts from the World Bank grants

Drama was witnessed Friday morning outside the Nakuru's Central police station where two naked young men climbed up on a tree & refused to come down.

According to area OCS, the men climbed on the tree at 5:40 am and since then, they refused to come down, an incident that attracted attention to members of the public who watched a free Afro Cinema at a far off.

The police managed to threw them clothes inorder to wear where they dressed up but still remained hanging on the top. The Officers says that no demands have been given and they are still talking to them to know what their issues is. The two men are seen holding a bible and talking to each other.
