~బంగ్లా హిందువుల అజ్ఞాత మరణకాండ Bangla Hinduvula Agnyata Maranakanda~

1947లో భారత దేశ విభజన, 1971లో బంగ్లాదేశ్ ఆవిర్భావం నేపథ్యంలో ఇస్లామిక్ జిహాది మూకలు చేసిన దారుణ మారణకాండ కారణంగా కొన్ని లక్షల హిందూ కుటుంబాలు ధ్వంసం అయ్యాయి. హిందువులు తమ పూర్వీకుల నుండి సంక్రమించిన ఇళ్లు, భూమి, వ్యాపారాలు, ఆస్తిపాస్తులతో పాటు బంధాలన్నీ తెంచుకుని 1971-1974 సమయంలో అర్ధాంతరంగా భారతదేశానికి వలస రావాల్సి వచ్చింది.
కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సహకారంతో ఆనాడు ఛత్తీస్ గడ్ రాయ్‌పూర్‌లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన శరణార్థి శిబిరం లో కొంతకాలం ఉన్నారు. అక్కడి నుంచి కొన్ని కుటుంబాలు ప్రభుత్వ సహాయంతో 1974-76 మధ్య తెలంగాణలోని సిర్పూర్ కాగజ్‌నగర్‌ పరిసరాల్లో 17 గ్రామాల్లో స్థిర నివాసం ఏర్పరుచుకున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం వారి జనాభా 20 వేలకు పైగా ఉంది. వాటిలో కౌతాల మండల కేంద్రానికి 8 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో రవీంద్ర నగర్ 1 మరియు రవీంద్ర నగర్ 2 గా వెలసిన గ్రామంలోని బంగ్లాదేశీ హిందూ శరణార్థుల కథనాలు ఈ పుస్తకం లో వివరించబడ్డాయి.

స్వదేశీ సమాజ్' పేరుతో రవీంద్రనాథ్ ఠాగూర్ వ్రాసిన వ్యాసం చదవండి. అందులో ఆయన ' సమాజ జాగృతి కేవలం రాజకీయాలవల్ల సాధ్యంకాదు' అని అన్నారు. మన సమాజంలో స్థానిక నాయకత్వాన్ని నిలబెట్టడం ద్వారానే అది సాధ్యమవుతుందన్నారు. అటువంటి నాయకత్వానికి అయన పెట్టిన పేరు ' నాయక్'. సచ్చీలత కలిగి, సమాజంతో నిరంతర సంబంధం కలిగి, సమాజ విశ్వాసాన్ని పొందినవారు, దేశం కోసం ప్రాణత్యాగానికి కూడా సిద్ధపడే నాయక్ లు కావాలని ఆయన అన్నారు. ఇంత పెద్ద దేశంలో గ్రామగ్రామాన, వీధివీధిలో అటువంటి నాయక్ లు కావాలి. వారివల్లనే సమాజంలో మార్పు వస్తుంది. అటువంటివారిని తయారుచేయాలి. ఇదే విషయాన్ని రవీంద్రనాథ్ ఠాగూర్ స్పష్టంగా చెప్పారు. దీనినిబట్టి జాతిని జాగృతపరచాలని తెలుస్తుంది. మనం కొత్తగా జాతిని ఏర్పరచాల్సిన అవసరంలేదు. అది ఎప్పుడూ ఉంది. తన హింద్ స్వరాజ్ లో గాంధీజీ ఇదే చెప్పారు. యువకుడు అడిగే ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానమిచ్చే వృద్ధుడి పాత్రలో గాంధీజీ ' ఈ దేశం కొత్తగా ఏర్పడలేదని, మొదటి నుండి ఉందని, రైల్వేల ద్వారా బ్రిటిష్ వారు ఈ దేశాన్ని ఒకటి చేశారనే భ్రమ కూడా వాళ్ళు కల్పంచిందేనని ఆయన అన్నారు.
