How I’ve improved post inflammatory hyperpigmentation… 🥰
Consistent use of the following ingredients:
✨Vitamin C ➡️@beautystat
✨Azaleic Acid ➡️ @naturiumskin
✨Niacinamide ➡️@naturiumskin
✨Tinted SPF ➡️@colorescience
The above is specifically my AM skincare routine.
For my PM skincare routine:
✨Azaleic acid
✨Tranexemic acid
✨Retinol cream
This has been my routine for the last 2 months. The results are noticeable and I’m pretty pleased.
Note: results vary depending on how long the acne/inflammation has been on your skin.
The longer it takes to heal the acne, the longer the hyperpigmentation will last on your skin.
If you suffer from post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or any sort of hyperpigmentation, check out these ingredients.
Do your research, consult a professional before you try.

My guilty pleasure! ✨
Call me a junkie, an addict, a lover, whatever you want.
I love me some skincare and I am always up for trying something new.
But all jokes aside…
Please know that I am consistent with my skincare and use up what I have.
I just like to add in a new product or two every once in a while.
Nothing that will harm or compromise my skin barrier.
When I try new products, I go slow. Add it into my already set routine, if all goes well, I will add in another one or take away one and vice versa.
It’s super important to be consistent with your skincare routine to see optimal results.
Adding products as needed.
I’m learning as I get older to be more intentional with what I use vs going with trends.
What are some of your favorite skincare brands? Do you need help building a skincare routine?
I’d love to know and/or help.

Koreans know best!
I’ve incorporated this face tapping technique into my morning skincare routine.
Though at first it seemed intense, I must admit, I enjoy it.
Makes me feel refreshed, plumped and glowy.
Fave tapping is supposed to help with blood circulation, which in turn helps with face plumping.
After I’m done tapping, I go ahead and do some face massages for lymphatic drainage.
I sped this up but usually I spend about 5 minutes each morning massaging my face and draining.
Reminder, to be gentle, no bruising must happen during this process. 😳 redness is normal.
Use a facial oil or serum to do your facial massages. Just enough to help your hands and fingers glide, but not too much, where it’s just slipping.
Hope you try!
If you have any other facial/skincare tips, drop them below.
I love learning and trying new things.

I often hear many women express no time to get themselves ready…
It’s very common especially among moms.
Before I became a mom, i enjoyed makeup and all things beauty.
Once I became one, I realized doing the things I enjoyed one day were not as easy to do anymore.
But one day, in the midst of my mental breakdown, I told myself, though I love being a mother, I am also human, me, a woman who loves and enjoys doing things for herself.
As an educator, one of the many things I constantly made sure to engrave into my students’ mind was time management.
Make time for the things that matter most. Plan your days, even if things do go as planned, prioritize what’s important.
So, this is when I knew that because getting myself ready, putting myself together, doing my hair and makeup is what mattered to me and what made me feel like a woman other than just a mom, I knew I needed to make time for it.
Though I wasn’t working a FT job anymore, I made it a point to set my alarm and wake up a 5am every morning to get myself ready.
You see, as moms, caregivers, as women in general we must fill our tanks in order to give to others.
If we don’t take care of ourselves, it’s very hard for us to take care of others.
So, I’m here to tell you, make time for YOU!
If it’s important to you, prioritize. Do what it takes to make time yourself!
YOU DESERVE IT.
YOU MATTER!
If you made it this far reading this long caption, please drop a 🫶🏼 in the comments. I’d love to know I’m not alone and that you’ll make time for yourself, too!
Have a wonderful day! ✨

How to achieve smooth hair!
It’s always best to blow dry hair when your hair has been air dried about 80%. This will help using less heat on your hair.
Always use heat protectant before using heat. I love using @olaplex No. 7 as a heat protectant and finishing oil.
I also love @dphue thermal heat protectant spray, especially for day 2 hair.
If you s struggle with frizzy hair, the best way to get rid of frizz is by blow drying hair using leave in conditioner or blowout cream, heat protectant and if needed hair spray.
I have keratin treated hair, so styling my hair is super easy and effortless.
Overtime, new hair starts to grow, frizz starts to come up, but using heat activates the keratin, making hair smooth and frizz free again.
Hope you found this helpful!

Let’s hydrate before caffeinating.
Did you know that we lose lots of water and minerals overnight?
It’s important to replenish those minerals first thing in the morning.
Though just plain water won’t do the trick, it’s important to add electrolytes to replenish lost water.
I am currently loving @redmondrelyte
It’s so delicious and hydrating and most importantly quenches my morning thirst.
Other simple ways to add electrolytes to your water is by adding a pinch of @redmondrealsalt to your plain water. You can even squeeze some lemon in it to help with digestion, too!
Hope you give it a try.

No time to worry about others or what others think of me. This year my mission is to focus. Focus on myself and family, on my goals and most importantly focus on God’s plan and purpose for me and my family. #focus #beyou #selfworth #mybusiness

Choosing the right brush to prevent hair breakage
Why using the right hair brush is important
Sure, there are plenty of hair brush variety, but choosing the right one for your hair will help improve the health of your hair.
For instance, a boar bristle brush is good for those with, dry, damaged, fine hair.
If you tend to get super oily hair, this one’s for you.
The boar bristles are super gentle on the hair, it helps distribute the natural oils of your hair all through each strand, hence helps avoid super greasy 2-day hair.
It’s so gentle, it glides with every brush, so prevents breakage.
If you have a lot of hair, thick or unmanageable hair and would like to try a boar bristles brush, I recommend using one that not only had boar bristles but one that had plastic bristles as well, so a better grip but that’s also gentle (like the one pictured).
You really can’t go wrong with a @thewetbrush all are great, but finding the right one for your hair type is key for healthy hair.
If you like to style your hair using heat, I highly recommend this duo.
I can’t say enough how great it’s help my hair and I’m sure it can help you, too.
Here are my favorite ways to use these:
1. Use the leave-in conditioner after showering let my hair air dry, this will reduce any frizz. If styling and using heat, I use the oil (a little goes a long way).
2. For further hair shine, I mix the two together (the best cocktail for your hair) and style as normal.
Hope you get to try these! Have any questions lmk 🥰
Did you knowYou’re supposed to wash your hair brushes 1-2 times a week? If you use a lot of hair products it is recommended that you wash your hair brushes to rid of all the gunk that accumulates with every hair brush. This will prevent any bacteria growth on your brushes hence damaging your hair and scalp. If you don’t use much hair products, washing every 2-3 weeks is fine. Get in the habit of washing your hair brushes just as you would your makeup brushes. A clean hair brush will also ensure your hair doesn’t get too oily since you are not brushing it with a dirty, gunky, oily brush. Your hair will stay cleaner longer and healthy! 💁🏻♀️#HairGoals #HealthyHair #HairBrush #Keratin #KeratinGold #BeautyMadeEasybyEliza
