This was an amazing weekend for horror fans. I had the pleasure of seeing two amazing ones and some of the best horror I’ve seen in awhile. First got to see Terrifier 2 in theaters which was fantastic. Almost a 2 1/2 hr slasher gorefest. Some of the best kills I’ve seen in a slasher movie. With the runtime it did feel a little long at parts and the ending could’ve been better but with those nitpicks still an amazing horror film. 9/10. Secondly got to see the new Hellraiser on Hulu. Only second to the original. It was sooooo good. The new Cenobite designs were simply gorgeous and grotesque all at the same time. Gore was plentiful and the new female Pinhead did a fantastic job. Loved her look and the voice she gave to the character. You could tell the director put love and care into this Hellraiser reboot. I can’t wait for more and I hope they green light some sequels. They even expanded upon the lore of Hellraiser which was lacking in so many of the films. Easily one of the best Hellraiser films to date. 8 1/2 outta 10

Fantastic science fiction horror anime. I will say this is somewhat of a guilty pleasure for sure but overall if you’re into hardcore gore in your anime then look no further. Only 5 episodes so it’s a nice short watch to binge it out. Lots of swearing, blood/guts, nudity, etc. What more could you want from this dirty old school anime 😜👍 8/10

Amazing horror anime that’s exclusively on Netflix. Love the weird crazy out there story. I also love the character designs that they did for the so called, “Masks”. Pretty good voice acting overall as well. Now I will say this isn’t for the squeamish because it is pretty gory and bloody at times so be warned. It’s a nice short watch at about 12 episodes so it’s easy to binge if you choose to do that. I can’t wait for season 2 to come out. 9/10
