I am thrilled to share that I have been selected as a finalist for the Her Campus Media InfluenceHer Collective Awards in the Mental Health Advocate Creator category! 🎉

My journey with the InfluenceHer Collective began in college in 2018, and it’s been an incredible ride ever since. What started with gifted campaigns for evolved into paid partnerships, brand ambassador programs, and speaking opportunities with Her Campus.

I’ve had the privilege of being a panelist for Genzology in 2021, a panelist at Her Conference in 2022, a fireside chat at the College Fashionista Creators Loft in 2023, and I’m eagerly looking forward to potentially being back as the Mental Health Advocate of the Year at the Her Conference 2024!

My connection with Her Campus goes beyond professional collaborations; it’s a genuine love and appreciation for the incredible team and founders Stephanie Kaplan Lewis, Annie Wang and Windsor Hanger Western who have supported me every step of the way. They have been instrumental in catapulting my career as a full-time creator and advocate, and I am deeply honored to be recognized with this award.

I spent over a decade looking for answers as to what was causing my chronic pain, GI issues, and inflammation.

I thought I just had to live life this way and that it was just how my body would work. It wasn’t until I had tried at least three other treatments for my chronic pain that my pain management doctor suggested getting the exploratory laparoscopy that searches for and can diagnose endometriosis.

I vividly remember waking up from surgery feeling awful pain, which is unfortunately normal from this surgery. I heard what I dreaded but also an answer to my misery as my surgeon said “you have endometriosis”. I felt a sigh of relief, it was not in my head all of these years and there WAS something deeper going on.

And then I felt anger and frustration. Why did it take nearly 13 years to figure this out? For a disease that affects 1 in 10 women, why did it take so long?! Why did no one suspect it? I had most of the symptoms. Would I have had a different experience growing up, would I have been able to do more or live differently? Who knows.

What I know now is it’s not just about ‘bad periods’; it’s a chronic illness that can affect every aspect of life.

This Endometriosis Awareness Month 🎗️my goal is to break the silence and spread knowledge about this painful disorder. Understanding as friends, partners, and work colleagues is the first step towards change for anyone who deals with Endo. Many women suffer in silence, thinking their severe menstrual pain is normal. 💔

I think of all of the Endo warriors battling Endometriosis every day. Your strength inspires the entire community to continue advocating for more research and treatments. Let’s educate, advocate, and support research for better treatments and a cure. Whether it’s wearing yellow, sharing your story, or simply starting a conversation, every action counts. 💛

Remember, you are not alone. Together, we can bring endometriosis to the forefront, encouraging early diagnosis and better treatments for all who suffer.

I’m beyond honored to have made the list for marketing this year for my business and new venture 🤭🎉

I founded It’s Gigi four years ago in my high school bedroom after being sent home from USC during the pandemic. As found my own voice by advocating for people dealing with chronic illness and mental health issues across different social platforms, I naturally scaled my presence across social media platforms to nearly 400K. I simultaneously and intentionally developed my personal brand across my platforms so that I would be able to create a presence outside of my social pages that could outlive me if one of the platforms were to shut down.

The past year has been filled with a ton of ups and downs in my business as a creator, which ultimately inspired me to create . A company focused on helping creators develop their personal brands and become thought leaders in their niches. I have been building out specific coursework to coach creators who want to achieve more than just going viral and building a lasting brand. I have worked day in and day out to make my career as a creator impactful, valuable and fun for me but also empowering to my audiences. I have worked on developing an offshoot of my main influencer business that I am the face of to help as many other creators build something long lasting too.

Last night I hosted a vision boarding workshop for women to help them with business planning in 2024.

Why trust me? Well… the proof is in the pudding! From brand deals, to being invited to the White House, to traveling with my best friends and manifesting an amazing relationship, it all started through intentional journaling!

The key thing that I focused on in this workshop was journaling so that we can intentionally set goals & milestones that we want to achieve. Without visualizing who we were in the past, where we’re at today and who we want to be in the future, our goals can often get lost in the mix.

Aside from mindset work, I walked everyone to rough the process of making a digital vision board which is just as good as a physical one!

I had an invigorating experience speaking to members last night about the power and importance of personal branding.

It’s fascinating to see how this concept, often brushed off as a buzzword, actually holds substantial weight in our professional and personal lives -especially for women- at work.

The key message I emphasized was the importance of starting small. Personal branding isn’t about creating a grandiose image overnight. It’s about the little steps – understanding your strengths, your passions, and how they align with your professional goals. It’s about authenticity and letting your true self shine through in every interaction.

I also touched on the evolution of personal branding. It’s a journey, not a destination. As we grow in our careers and personal lives, our brand evolves with us. It’s dynamic, adapting to new skills, experiences, and perspectives we gain along the way. This evolution is what keeps our personal brand relevant and relatable.

Lastly, I delved into integrating personal branding into our social media content. Social media is not just a tool for connectivity; it’s a powerful platform for personal branding. Every post, every share, every interaction contributes to the narrative of who we are and what we stand for. It’s crucial to be mindful of the content we create and share, ensuring it aligns with our personal brand ethos.

In the ever-evolving world of digital content creation, financial insecurity remains a significant challenge. As creators, we often find ourselves navigating the unstable terrain of brand deals, where unpredictability is the only constant. This instability affects not just our creativity, but our livelihoods as well.

But here’s the thing – we’re not alone in this. After talking to most of my friends in the industry, I’ve found that many of us face similar struggles. And yet there’s a surprising lack of open conversation about it.

🔍 This brings me to an idea: What if I were to start a dialogue about pay transparency in the creator economy? I’m considering launching a series dedicated to this very topic. This platform could serve as a space for us to share experiences with brands, insights, and strategies to navigate the financial aspects of content creation more effectively.

Career goals:
- Triple revenue from the past 3 years (putting me at least over $300K/year
- Launch new coaching programs for
- Hire more team members
- Host more events IRL for Hosts of Influence

Personal goals:
- Grow on Linkedin to 30K (double my current audience)
- Scale my dog’s social media channels to over 100K on YT / Tiktok / Reels (currently at 1251 and its only been posting for 12 days)

My one year endoanniversary was last week.

This year was filled with so much hope and optimism. Since last year, I have been able to work out and actually enjoy it without being in pain. I was able to live life, in a way that felt free. I didn’t have to worry about my health everywhere that I went. Instead I got to enjoy moments with friends, family, and my partner. I was able to wean off of my medication that I had been on for my chronic health issues. My inflammation went way down and I felt pain free after 15 years of tirelessly searching for answers.

And then a few months ago, I started getting severe pain in my abdomen area. It was pain that felt so familiar. Frustration and anger were the first two things that went through my mind. Why did I only have such a little taste of what felt like a healthy body? Why is this pain back? And we’re still uncovering what it might be. At the moment this frustrating disease, endometriosis, is making a comeback into my life making daily tasks difficult again. I was mad, I am still mad.

If you’re dealing with invisible health issues, this time of year, you are not alone. Please make sure to take care of yourself, and take the breaks. Even if that means spending a few days in bed.

2023 was a whirlwind that flew by at supersonic speed.

I can’t believe it’s the time of year again to recap everything that I accomplished and achieved.

Some of my highlights include singing to l (shout out my amazing manager .seville ), hosting for at , turning 25, getting my new puppy (after I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 16 years, Zoey), being invited to The twice, the twice, HQ four times, HQ twice, hosting two book launches for my children’s book at and and speaking on a panel for Inc., and .

I got to work with 14 different incredible brands, speak at 14 conferences, universities and programs, featured in 12 different press articles and attend countless events in NYC and LA!

I love auditing my growth over the year and I am SO proud to say that my total following across all of my platforms ( everywhere) grew to 275K with over 7.9 million impressions and 123K engagements. I am also SUPER excited to share the launch of my newest business which you will all hear about very soon!

I sat down with and Thomas Kim who heads partnerships at to have a conversation centralized around scaling as a creator and brand, monetization, and the future. We all had unique perspectives from the creator, academic and platform perspective that provided a holistic view for audience members.

The held the first ever holiday party for digital media and creators & I was lucky enough to be in attendance!

Upon entry into the White House I was captivated by the colors and lights around me. It was so spectacular it truly took my breath away. Each room had unique designs and we were allowed to enjoy the spaces that typically are roped off!

Aside from the decor, the people invited were amazing. There was no doubt that there was extreme thought put into the curation of the group in attendance.

One of my favorite parts about this industry is that it is really a small town. I ran into not one but several few friends and familiar faces I had never met IRL, and finally got to at the White House.

And the coolest part of the way was shaking First Lady, Dr. Biden’s hand 🤝

Yesterday truly felt like a fever dream, bravo, congratulations and thank you to the entire White House Digital team for inviting me. It was a true honor to be back🇺🇸

On this past International Day of the Girl, I teamed up with Rebel Girls to talk about amplifying diverse voices of girls worldwide, breaking down barriers to education and opportunity, and paving the way for a more equitable future.

If you don’t know, around this time last year the team at Rebel Girls asked me if I’d be interested to contribute to their new book Dear Rebel, a collection of over 100 inspiring letters from notable women around the world.

🎓 I’ve been public speaking for 3 years on topics of mental health, body image, social media literacy and personal branding. And earlier this week I traveled to Cambridge, MA to give a talk on personal branding for entrepreneurs at Harvard University! Talk about a pinch me moment.

🎙️ My talk began by delving into my journey in social media advocacy, the unexpected twists, the lessons learned, and the burning passion that drove me to make a difference with all of my platforms. I uncovered the secrets behind creating a meaningful impact both online and offline while also turning it into a lucrative career.

Recently, headlines broke out that Snapchat is now the fastest growing social media app... and honestly not creators and brands are exploring its potential 👻 !

I attended the FIRST EVER in NYC with other local SnapStars and learned SO much about the future of creators on the platform. Here is what you need to know...

Snap Inc. currently boasts 393 million daily users generating 5 billion daily content interactions. The platform primarily caters to Gen Z, with 90% of its user base falling in this demographic.

Currently, Snap is focusing on a few key areas:

1. Education (Snap School): By enhancing user understanding of the platform for creators AND brands, Snap is setting everyone up to succeed.

The emphasis here is for creators to make engaging content on Stories that increase the time viewers spend on their story.

2. Monetization: Snap is currently developing more strategies to help creators generate revenue and utilize Snapchat as one of their main social media platforms.

Advertising logic is Snaps Ad-roll program which includes serving 6-8 snaps ads throughout a creators story or show and creators can make money from it!

Snapchat Spotlight encourages challenges for creators to earn money by following a unique brief and using various snap tools within a 10-20 second timeframe.

There are a lot of opportunities for creators to collaborate with big brands for speaking engagements and brand partnerships. AND a brand new integration with Shopify which will allow creators and brands to boost their e-commerce businesses to monetize their Snap audiences further.

Overall, the Snap Creators team encourages all SnapStars to use the platform as a Creative Playground to produce diverse content with an emphasis on raw, behind the scenes that you don’t get anywhere else.

I had the immense honor to be invited by Biden to The for a briefing on lowering healthcare costs for American families.

I’ve spent years dreaming of a moment of this caliber. My work as patient leader was recognized by the White House last week. It reminds me of why I started advocating for patients in the first place. And it continues to be a propellant in all of my work.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to be in the room with The President of the United States. I got to shake his hand and thank him personally for his work to lower healthcare costs for American Families.

This entire process has truly shown me that hard work pays off.

The Biden Administration just announced the first 10 drugs selected for Medicare Price Negotiation – a critical provision under the Inflation Reduction Act that will finally allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug costs for seniors and other beneficiaries.

The drugs that were selected are used to treat some of the most common diseases like diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, blood clots, and cancers.

This is one step forward in the Administration’s efforts to lower costs for American families and make health care more affordable. And I’m beyond honored to have been in the room while this was being announced!

And as hard as it was to fall asleep & wake up yesterday morning, I had to keep going.

I was invited by the President of the United States to attend a special event at The White House, covering the topic of lowering healthcare costs & patient advocacy.

For those that don’t know I spent the past 15 years if my life trying to find answers and relief from my chronic pain. My doggie Zoey was an essential part of my chronic health journey. She was always by my side when I had flare ups, motivated me to keep moving & brought so much joy through the years.

She watched as I built my entire business and advocated for people struggling with chronic illness across my platforms, on stages & in my book.

I can't help but think my sweet Zoey planned her exit knowing something huge was lined up for me.
To be invited by President Biden to talk about patient leadership, healthcare costs & more is just such a blessing from Zoey to help me keep going. I’ll be forever grateful for that sweet pup.

More to come on this very exciting and special day to me, but for now I am just so proud that I pushed myself to go and that I was invited in the first place.

Creator Lounges were the talk of the town at VidCon.

And you may be wondering what the heck a creator lounge is.

Essentially it is a space that you need a specific wristband to get into. If you had an all access badge or a pink wristband given to you during the registration pickup area, you would be granted access.

These "lounges" are decked out ballrooms that are transformed into a euphoric arena of sets for creators (or anyone) to make exclusive content at. Another HUGE perk of getting into these lounges is that you can network with respective creator management teams at Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snap Inc., and Nickelodeon.

The IG lounge had a content crew of amazing video producers helping anyone who needed it with lights, filming and even editing reels to be posted in real time. They also had Booth by Bryant, a super trendy photographer and creator who typically only exclusively shoots big influencers. And my favorite part had to be the Creator Support booth where you could ask questions directly to support teams at Meta about your account.

My roots are from NYC, I went to LaGuardia High School and went on to pursue photography and design at the University of Southern California as a full time design student. I am a Content Creator specializing in creating photographs and videos that resonate with any brands target demographic. I have a lot of skillsets on social media platforms, primarily instagram and TikTok, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter. I am also a professional photographer and designer and will add a creative pop to any campaign. I enjoy traveling and working as a full-time photographer and social media influencer while in school.
