Books I Read in January (Reading Activity) 3/50 📚:

‣ Letters To A Young Poet by Maria Rainier Rilke (Epistolary Non-fiction) - Finished in 6 hours
‣ Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업) by Chugong (Manhwa) - Finished in 3 days
‣ The Awakening by Kadi Serafica (Novel) - Ongoing
‣ Elena and Other Stories by Michellan Sarile-Alagao (Chapbook) - Ongoing
‣ Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto (Manga) - Finished in 8 hours

I gotta get back to reading novels if I wanna hit my reading goal. Took a little detour 'cause Solo Leveling and Kaiju No. 8 have been calling my name for ages. The latter is still ongoing, but I binged through the first 100 chapters. If you're not counting mangas, comics, and manhwas as reading, you're seriously missing out!

I highly recommend Kaiju No. 8 if you're a fan of Godzilla, Fire Force, Attack On Titan, and Black Clover. The anime is set to come out in April!

Experiencing the South for the first time turned out to be quite enjoyable. It's been a good six years since Sir Meno last graced our college classrooms with his presence. No one quite compares to his wit, humorous remarks, and genuine passion for teaching Filipino youth. It's always a pleasant conversation whenever we catch up with him. So, I've been on a roll lately, deep-diving into Filipino Folklore for the past couple of months. Joel Donato Ching Jacob's () take on mambabarangs had me hooked, followed by Herbert De Leon's () reimagining of the classic epic, "Biag Ni Lam-Ang." And now, I've landed in 's world of the Awakened.
