Goa is hands down my favorite state in India! 🙌

Currently, I’m staying at , and I have to say, it’s been an amazing experience. The staff here are incredibly kind and truly go out of their way to ensure you feel right at home. The breakfast spread is delicious and let’s talk about the pool, it’s the cutest little oasis where you can soak in those perfect Goa vibes.

If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place to stay in Goa, I highly recommend this gem🐚🏝️

One of my favorite days from Kazakhstan when I witnessed the beautiful Charyn Canyon!

This masterpiece is located around 200kms from Almaty and is around 12 million years old with epic red rock formations that remind you of the Grand Canyon.

Trust me, it’s one of those places that you have to see to believe!

I booked my trip with .hello and they are amazing at what they do. If you are looking for private tours in Kazakhstan, they are your best bet!

Transitioning from a corporate job to becoming a content creator wasn’t an easy decision for me.

It meant stepping out of my comfort zone, embracing uncertainty, and facing the unknown.

But it was also one of the most liberating and fulfilling choices I’ve ever made.

The corporate world offered stability, a steady pay check, and a defined career path.

But it also came with limitations, monotony, and a lack of creative freedom 😟

As a content creator, I’ve traded the cubicle for the open road, the rigid schedule for flexibility, and the office politics for authentic connections 💯

Yes, there are challenges.

The irregular income, the pressure to constantly create engaging content, and the uncertainty of success can be daunting.

But every obstacle is an opportunity for growth, every setback a lesson learned, and every success a validation of my passion and dedication.

The pros?

Oh, they outweigh the cons by far.

I wake up every day excited to do what I love, to share my experiences with the world, and to connect with a community that shares my interests and values.

But perhaps the greatest reward is the sense of fulfilment and purpose that comes from living life on my own terms, from pursuing my passions wholeheartedly, and from inspiring others to do the same.

It’s about daring to dream, daring to defy expectations, and daring to live life on your own terms.

If I can do it, so can you.
And trust me, the journey is worth it. 💫

//Mera Pehla Pehla Solo Trip// Continued👇

Arriving on a quiet Sunday, I felt a bit uncomfortable due to the low population density.

I’m used to being surrounded by people, so seeing hardly anyone was quite a shock.

Even the hostel I stayed at was empty because everyone had gone out for the day.

However, this solitude gave me time to reflect and appreciate the stunning views. I learned a lot about myself during those quiet hours. 🧘‍♀️

Later that day, some fellow travellers arrived, and we enjoyed a bonfire together.

From the second day onward, I was no longer alone. 🤝

I made new friends and explored the beautiful surroundings with them.

Despite this, the trip wasn’t without its challenges.

Sikkim experienced power cuts, and there was no Wi-Fi at the hostel, which made managing my workation difficult.  💻

—> Here are some key takeaways from my solo trip:

💚 Use alone time to reflect and learn about yourself.
💚 Be prepared for unexpected challenges and adapt accordingly.
💚 Engage with locals to enrich your travel experience.
💚 Plan your expenses but also be flexible with your budget.
💚 Mishaps will happen, but they are part of the journey.

By the end of my trip, I felt a profound sense of empowerment and fulfilment.

Solo travel is magical, despite its challenges, and I’m currently writing this from my on-going solo adventure.

If you’ve been hesitant about travelling alone, I encourage you to give it a try.

You might just discover a new side of yourself! 🌍

Are you a solo traveller?

If “YES”. Let’s talk in the comment section! 🤝

Banaras is the perfect place to start your Slow Travel journey!

But first, do you know what Slow Travel is?

It simply means taking your time to truly experience travel, without rushing to check items off your bucket list. 🌻

Now that we understand what Slow Travel is, why is Banaras the right place?

Because it’s a place that makes you feel deeply. You can spend hours sitting on the ghats, exploring the beautiful lanes where every lane has a story to tell. The art on the walls will make you want to pause and stare for an extra second. The Ganga Aarti, although crowded, brings a lot of peace, and my favorite part is the midnight walks when most of Banaras is sleeping, and people like me are walking on the ghats. 💯

I stayed in Banaras for 2 weeks the first time I went there, and for 10 days this time. There are some issues like the littering problem and open defecation, which I don’t appreciate, but it still holds a special place in my heart. ♥️

So, when are you heading to Banaras?

Starting this new year was like making a 16-year-old Komal’s dream come true. After-all it’s all about doing things we’ve always wanted to do since we were young, right?

Imagine a new year’s eve full of sparkles and fun, just like in the movies. That’s exactly what we(my friends and I) did! We laughed, danced, and did all the cool stuff we’d dreamt of as kids.

I am all about the main character energy where every page is exciting and full of surprises. Cheers to making our childhood dreams come true in the most fun way possible! 🎉✨🎈

Happy New Year, 2024 💛🌻

When the group finally made it out of WhatsApp chat😂

This is to a long awaited Goa trip with my college buddies, and what a blast💯
The best part? It was all about us. No emails, no calls, just the sound of waves and our endless stories. Yesterday, we realized this wasn’t just a trip. It was the perfect finale to 2023, a chapter we’d always look back on with a big, goofy grin. So here’s to friendship, to Goa, and to making memories that stick and of course to 2023!

Stepping away from the usual ‘HOW TO’ guides and diving into the ‘WHY’ of travel.

It’s not just about the destinations, but the stories, connections, and self-discoveries we find along the way.

Why do you travel? What makes your heart go weeee when you travel? 🌏✨

08/12/2023

I recently watched the movie 'ANIMAL' alone and was deeply disturbed by a particular scene. It shows the character Abrar, about to get married, receiving news of his brother's murder. In anger, he kills the messenger, and then, with his face covered in blood, he abusively kisses the woman he was about to marry, followed by an act of domestic abuse. Watching this was disturbing to say the least.

But what shocked me more was the reaction of some guys in the theater. They were enjoying this scene, making inappropriate comments as if this violence was entertaining. They said things like 'Iske hi maze hai' or 'pehli wali ko bhi bula le' (and FYI, this is an Inox theater where each ticket costs 400 rupees per person).

This made me realize that sometimes Indian audiences don't just watch movies; they use them to justify their behavior and validate their actions. Many people say to watch a movie as just a movie, which I agree with to some extent, but are you sure everyone is doing that?

Leaving the theater, these same guys were walking behind me, and in my head, I had already thought of 100 different scenarios in which I would respond if they did something inappropriate. I've traveled to multiple places solo but felt unsafe in my own hometown, which reminded me of a question I often get: 'Do you FEEL SAFE when you are TRAVELING SOLO?' My question is, 'Are we REALLY SAFE anywhere?' If this is how people react to such disturbing scenes, it's a serious concern about our society's mindset.

What are your thoughts?

#06/30 //11 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE VISITING VIETNAM//

1. Visa Victory: Secure your e-Visa online before flying. 30 days e-visa cost USD 25 (Reel with #01)
2. Dollar Power: Carry USD to exchange for Vietnamese D**g once you land. 100 dollars have better exchange rates (Reel with #02)
3. Stay Connected: Grab a local SIM from Viettel for the best coverage. It cost Rs. 550 for a month with unlimited data.
4. Timing is Everything: Visit from November to April for perfect weather but April-May or October for great weather and fewer tourists.
5. Stay Hack: Book initial accommodation online, then negotiate in-person for longer stays.
6. Grab on the Go: Use Grab or Gojek app for safe and fair-priced transportation. Find Local Services offline or 12Go-Asia online for internal transfers.
7. Hydration Safety: Always choose bottled water for drinking.
8. Plug In: Carry a universal adapter for Vietnam's varied outlets.
9. Cash is King: Keep cash handy for the best local experience.
10. Pack Wise: Light and breathable fabrics work best.
11. Vegetarian’s Savior: Say ‘an-chay’ to avoid any hidden animal products.

It’s been more than 50 days of this solo journey, and it has transformed me in ways I could never have imagined. Each day brought a blend of external adventures and profound internal reflections. I'm not the same person I was when I started; I've grown. I've been awed, elated, and even disappointed at times. There were soaring highs and challenging lows, but through it all, I've laughed and shed tears, cherishing every moment. It's hard to believe that I'm living one of my dreams✨

Hello from Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩

I've been manifesting this journey for more than a year now, and honestly, now that I'm here in Indonesia, I still can't quite believe it. It's only when I glance at the map and realize how far I am from India that it really sinks in.

And let me tell you about the waterfall I came across – it was an absolute marvel! I just wish the photos could capture its true majesty. Check out my story for the full picture 📷

Made it to Vietnam 🇻🇳

I have been manifesting my first international trip for a year now and believe me, it's a monumental achievement. Given where I come from and the family I belong to, this journey means the world to me.

The past month has been a whirlwind, from sorting out tickets and visas to navigating all the rules and planning a group trip before embarking on this solo adventure. It's been overwhelming, to say the least.

It has been 4 days here and I am still adjusting to the new environment, people, food but you know how they say ‘you wish you knew you are in the good old days before you have left them?’ well I know these are my good old days and I'm living them right now.

It is going to be a roller coaster ride, and I'll be sharing all my experiences, both the highs and the lows. While there's plenty of informative content out there, I believe you deserve to see the real, unfiltered moments of an Indian girl traveling solo in Vietnam 🫶🏻

Meanwhile share suggestions/tips please?

Guess what? Last year on this very day, this picture was taken at Chopta in Uttarakhand which was our final stop of an absolutely legendary road trip in the stunning Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, all the way to the extraordinary Garhwal area. Our adventure kicked off from Jeolikote, and boy, did we navigate some wild roads! We zigzagged through Nainital, Kausani, Karnaprayag all the way to Chopta making pit stops at countless amazing places.
The weather didn't exactly cooperate, and we couldn't catch a glimpse of any jaw-dropping landscapes or famous landmarks. But hey, that didn't stop us from having an absolute blast!

We even ventured to Kanakchauri, ready to hike and feast our eyes upon the majestic Himalayas. However, all we encountered was a thick blanket of fog. No worries though, we embraced the moment and simply chilled out. We practically became chai connoisseurs, guzzling down a whopping 90 cups of that delightful brew in a single day. This, my friends, is the epic road trip that I kept under wraps, barely sharing any of its memories on social media. It's a journey that will forever be etched in my heart.

Ye road trip maine kya kya kiya uski story kabhi aur sunaungi. Yaha tak padhne ke liye shukriya 🫶🏻
