Because Facebook is a US government contractor, and acts as a tool of censorship to serve US foreign-policy interests, it has basically made this page unusable.

For the 30th year in a row, almost every country on Earth voted at the United Nations to oppose the six-decade US blockade of Cuba.

The vote was 185 to 2. Only the USA and apartheid Israel supported the blockade. Just two countries abstained: Bolsonaro's far-right Brazil and NATO's client regime in Ukraine.

Why does Washington maintain this illegal, suffocating blockade after 60 years? In an internal 1960 memo, a top US State Department official admitted that the “majority of Cubans support [Fidel] Castro.”

The US official concluded that the US must use "every possible means" to "weaken the economic life of Cuba," to deny "money and supplies to Cuba, to decrease monetary and real wages, to bring about hunger, desperation and overthrow of government."

In a flagrantly hypocritical speech at the UN, US President Joe Biden declared: “If nations can pursue their imperial ambitions without consequences, then we put at risk everything this very institution stands for, everything.”

Biden himself strongly supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, which UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said clearly at the time was illegal and violated the UN Charter.
