We had to involve hot sauce and include the line "We've got company" 7 days to write shoot and edit a trailer... 30 hours of filming over 2 days, 36 straight hours of editing, and 10 beautiful and talented actors later... SCOVILLE was born and took home first place. 🏆

From the deepest corners of my heart, I want to express my gratitude to every single person who helped make this project a reality. It truly was the most amazing and enjoyable experience I've ever had and none of it would've been possible without you. What an honor it was to share this journey with you all.

Big thanks to the Robs & Revival house for providing the space for filmmakers to let their creativity soar. 🎬

Apps like FiLMiC Pro can take it a step further giving you even more access to your phone's camera. Using apps like these were my very first introduction into the world of f stops and iso. Have you ever seen the film Unsane? or how about High Flying Bird?? Both directed by Steven Soderbergh and both shot entirely on an iphone. Make movies not excuses!

Here is a throw back to one of the first scenes we were lucky to work on last year. In this antibullying scene, 2 sisters are getting scolded for bullying a kid at school. This was shot on the black magic pocket cinema camera 4k with a Panasonic Lumix G 25mm lens at f2.8. Real sisters and their real parents were used in this scene. Huge shout out to the entire Phillips family for being such a blast to work with!

We shot a total of 4 pick-up scenes for this Sci-Fi feature film that is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Titled, The Box in The Basement, written and directed by Mike Fox. Go check it out!
