We decided very early on in our Audio Drama journey that we wanted to tell stories set in Wales and from a Welsh viewpoint. One of the things we found the hardest as new indie creators was connecting with other Welsh audio talents, particularly voice actors, to come on the journey with us.

We wanted to share our experiences with other Welsh audio creatives and create a space for Welsh audio creators, actors and techies to connect and collaborate on projects.

We have set up a Discord server called Pobl Sain Cymru, with the aim of making it easier for those wishing to tell stories set in Wales or from a modern Welsh perspective.

We welcome anyone living inside our outsideof Wales from across the full Audio Drama sphere, from writers and directors to voice actors and sound designers. The only requirement is that you are keen to get involved in stories set in Wales, with welsh talent or told from a Welsh perspective.

For us, Modern Wales is an inclusive, diverse and outward-looking country, and our aim is to help facilitate new audio fiction and series that reflects this vision of Wales.
