tema 6 - what is ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ Anyways?
Do you have any written or artistic contributions, suggestions or thoughts?
DM us until October 15th. ๐ฅ
You feel too normal right now? No problem, we already have a lot of topics in mind and are happy to give suggestions! ๐
โ Here are some of our thoughts:
If you are normal, I cannot be. Do I want to be normal? Normality has advantages - for example, the advantage of acceptance - normality means the majority of a society arrives at a common denominator. What is considered normal is what meets expectations. What is normal is average, comprehensible, stress-free and does not disturb - in short: normality is boredom. But perhaps normality is also the place where one can live in peace? And once again the question about the rules for normality arises: every age, every social group and every culture has its very own definition of normal. In our peer group, some behaviors and conditions can be considered normal that others only shake their heads at in confusion. We plead for a normality of diversity. Perhaps normality is also a matter of habits - acceptance grows the longer and more closely we are confronted with something. In the best case scenario, what was initially new and different thus becomes normal.
see you soon :)

๐๐๐๐#๐ - ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก?
You are what you eat, you are what you wear, you are what you own. We spend money for the one perfect moment, for likes, love and lust, constantly in the search for identity and belonging. But somewhere on the way we seem to lose the power over our own needs and simply want more. โ But what if less was enough? - Letโs rethink our culture of consumerism!

In its fourth issue, TEMA wants to provoke a discussion on the male-dominated power structures in the world and discuss an alternative: Is matriarchy a real opportunity? Is it even possible to change thousand-year-old patriarchal structures? What is in between the two extremes?

We recieved a video project that looks at the role of White Dresses in womenโs lives. Our author spoke to her 92-year-old grandmother about the past and the importance of White Dresses. In doing so she wants to break the monumentality behind White Dresses in order to talk about the history behind them.
Watch and read on our website:
