✨QUESTIONS TO ASK ON YOUR NEXT 1-1 CALL✨
☁️READ THE CAPTION FOR MORE QUESTIONS AND INFO!
😎When you have your first call with a client, you need to get all your info and get to know them, right?!
💗Here are my 10 questions to ask in your next discovery call
⭐️You need know what they are currently doing with their pages
⭐️Whats the company story, how did it start? Why do they need your help?
⭐️Who is their ideal customer? (This helps you to fine tune your content if you know who it has to appeal to)
⭐️What are their goals with the social media? This question doesn’t mean ‘how many followers do you want?’ It means, do they want to build a community around their page, use it to support others or gain the majority of their sales through social platforms?
⭐️How did they find you?! This isn’t a self-obsessed question, it’s good if you know if your hashtags or content are working to reel in (haha reel, punny) reel in clients!
⭐️Who is their closest competitor? Do they aim to mimic their success or is their feed something to replicate?
⭐️When can you start? They might not be able for you to start right away, or they might have something already planned, like a giveaway, that they need to get out of the way first. Make sure when you commit to a client you can follow it through
⭐️How do they like to be contacted? Me personally I prefer to set out how I like to be contacted as a freelancer (e.g. I set out times I work and will reply, and which forms of contact are informal and formal). This depends on how you work, if you’re happy to stick with the clients preferred way of contacting that’s up to you!
⭐️What are the businesses aims? Obviously you can’t make all of these goals come true, especially if it’s not social media related. But if you know what they want to achieve you can tailor you work to suit this.
⭐️What’s their budget?! You need to be honest and realistic in what they can get for their money! These things take so much time and aren’t always achieved first time round.
