NEWS | On this day, December 8, 2023, we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a public holiday honoring Mary, the mother of Jesus. It was first celebrated in the seventh century as the "Conception of Mary by Saint Anne," but the name was altered to "Immaculate Conception" in 1854 when the dogma was defined. Despite taking place during the Advent liturgical season, which is dedicated to preparing for the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Immaculate Conception celebrates Mary's conception while she was still in the womb of her mother, St. Anne.

This day honors the notion that Mary was protected from original sin during her entire life. She is revered as the mother of salvation and was preserved from sin. Let us all give importance to this day as it serves as a reminder that we can live as sinless a life as possible if we cooperate with God's mercy, just as the Blessed Virgin Mary did.

"Life is a party. Dress for it.”
Audrey Hepburn

And Clareans certainly did, as they rocked the red carpet with their astonishing 1950s Hollywood attire for the CSGTC’s Induction Ball that took place in General Trias Convention Center on October 18, 2023. They have introduced the newly elected SSLG, SELG, SPTA, and FACULTY officers. The previous SSG President also joined them as they pledge loyalty and transfer the key of responsibility.
What’s a ball without dancing, singing, and partying! They’ve let the Clareans enjoy the night, as they groove in the dancefloor with style and witness glamorous performances from the performers of the singing club, dancing club, and some SPTA officers. Also, Akisha Gazelle Naval and Braxton R. Youn won best dressed while Brigitte M. Payumo and Jose Andres Buscano won as face of the night, both pairs have received prizes. Truly a night to remember, as it is filled with fashion, joy, camaraderie, and leadership. Hosted by Shaylee Adeline Balanon and Ezequiel Benedict David.
