This book contains much of Kahlil Gibran’s magnificent poetry and various prose pieees which he wrote when he was barely 20 years old. It was originally written in Arabic his mother tongue and later translated to English.
In this book also is Gibran’s famous story. “The bride’s Bed.” a strange, gripping tale that is both a plea for individual Liberty and an expression of his bitter condemnation of pre-arranged marriages of children by their parents.

Sapiens (A Brief History of Humankind)
~Yuval Noah Harari

It helped me clear many questions about the history of human species as this book tackles the biggest questions of human history and the modern world. In this book Harari has briefly touched from Stone Age up to 21st century, supported with theories, based on archeological findings and scientific reasonings. It is written based on his argument based survey but everything makes sense and are factual presentation of Human history in brief. He has beautifully presented by dividing it into four major parts:

I. The cognitive Revolution: How imagination evolved in Sapiens
II. Agriculture Revolution: The development of Agriculture
III. The unification of Humankind: The gradual consolidation of human political organizations towards one global empire.
IV. The Scientific Revolution: The emergence of objective science.
I recommend this book if u haven’t read it yet.
