Here's the latest edition of the Crow's Nest podcast with Jennifer Maidman on Radio Earth On Demand.. My guest is the sonic artist, musician and producer Stephen W Tayler, who has worked with Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Rupert Hine, Tina Turner, Bob Geldof, Murray Head, Chris de Burgh and many more, as well as releasing his own solo projects and working with his partner Sadia Sadia.
This was recorded at Steve's studio in the Real World complex , near Bath in the UK, where I happened to be for a couple of weeks working on another project. Many thanks to Steve for inviting me to visit, making great tea, and being so forthcoming about some of the events and influences which have shaped him as an artist.
