What to do to effectively prepare for a session:

1. Think about what you want to address and why.

2. Be willing to explore the emotions and thoughts that make you feel uncomfortable.

3. Be open to challenge them.

4. Identify alternative approaches that are more helpful.

5. Embrace changes that make sense.

6. Remember not to be hard on yourself even though the changes may seem awkward at first.

7. Be willing to be accountable as you learn new strategies. Be willing to ask questions about what you don’t understand.

8. Be willing to take on a lifestyle approach not a single event approach.
