In December 2022, #Hytech launched its re-brand in the metaverse. It was disguised as a #Christmas celebration, a #virtual gathering for its global employees. Employees created their own #avatars with dual language options in English and Mandarin to guide gameplay. There was also a private experience with password-gated access, the use of videos, the CEO's welcome speech, and a warm welcome to the Hytech Christmas #Party, the first in the metaverse!

Metaverse for Good is a partnership between Smobler Studios and Octava to bring #humanity, #empathy, and therapeutic intent into the Metaverse.
“. . .the launch of Metaverse for Good demonstrates the #global importance of #Singapore in enabling #innovation to take place in the metaverse and helping established local and global brands find their footing in a new world,” states George Wong, The Sandbox 's head of Singapore and #Malaysia.
All #NGOs, #socialenterprise, brands and services that qualify can participate in Metaverse for Good with no payment of LAND, lease or rental for up to a year, and contracts can be renewed annually subject to Octava’s approval. In exchange, all participants must commit to doing good, such as donating a portion of proceeds to charity or supporting a worthy cause.

We have launched The Food Bank Singapore into the metaverse and raised funds to feed the food insecure in Singapore and will be announcing a #scholarship fund to support #ASEAN scholars.
We have numerous projects coming on board include an accessibility park with ACCESS PATH PRODUCTIONS, an academy with Aventis Metaverse Aventis Learning Group Singapore and other partners who have pledged to do good, do well and co-create a Metaverse for Good.
