In this version update, we fixed an issue in which the Elemental Reactions dealt by the environment would not accurately scale up with the player's World Level, and we received the following feedback:

The environmental Elemental Reaction damage is too high in the open world. The scaling of these environmental Elemental Reactions with the World Level has caused certain combat scenarios (such as the fight against the Oceanid) and certain non-combat actions (e.g. gathering and exploring) to become unnecessarily burdensome.

We apologize that this particular mechanic has done more harm than good to the player experience. Our developers have come up with the following fix for this issue:
In the open world, the strength of the Elemental Reaction damage dealt by the environment (e.g. water bodies and grass fields) will be adjusted to scale 2 levels under your current World Level. The lowest possible level for this scaling is World Level 0, while the strongest possible level is World Level 4.

We will begin with the following adjustment during the November 12 update:
When your World Level is higher than 4, the Elemental Reaction damage will remain scaled to World Level 4. These Reactions include:
1. Burn damage over time from burning grass
2. Electro-Charged damage dealt through bodies of water
A follow-up adjustment will be completed by the November 13 update, which will adjust the mechanics of these two Elemental Reaction damage types to fit the aforementioned diagram.
Travelers affected by this issue can restart their game after the November 12 and November 13 updates respectively and continue playing normally.

Additionally, the changes in Version 1.1 will temporarily not include the Overload damage done to characters affected by Electro upon being ignited by burning grass.
We will bring such Elemental Reactions in line with the two aforementioned scenarios in future version updates.

We sincerely apologize if this has affected your gameplay experience in any way.
